Una Madre Nunca Se Cansa de Amar/ Iniciativa (Esp-Eng)

Feliz fin de semana amigos de La Colmena es un gusto nuevamente estar por aquí. Hoy me uno a esta iniciativa de mi amiga @nathyortiz en el marco de la celebración del día de las madres, esta fecha tan importante y tan emotiva que nos lleva a reflexionar y a su vez a celebrar, homenajeando a la persona que nos dio la vida y a su vez celebramos el hecho de haber sido madres.

Hace poco comenté en una actividad pública mientras hablaba de Hive, que tenía un hijo de 20 años, todo se sorprendieron porque pensaban que tenía menos edad, de verdad fue un momento muy gracioso porque rápidamente comenzaron a calcularme la edad, pues sí tuve mi hijo apenas cumplí 18 años.

Ser madre joven fue un conjunto de emociones, porque me tocó decidir sobre las cosas que quería hacer en la vida o las que debía hacer y fue un sacrificio que como joven tuve que enfrentar, he visto casos de mujeres que por tener un hijo olvidan todas sus proyecciones de vida, sus meta profesionales y en mi caso fue todo lo contrario, esto fue una motivación para mí.

Today I join this initiative of my friend @nathyortiz as part of the celebration of Mother's Day, this date so important and so emotional that leads us to reflect and in turn to celebrate, honoring the person who gave us life and in turn celebrate the fact of having been mothers.
I recently commented in a public activity while talking about Hive, that I had a 20 year old son, everyone was surprised because they thought I was younger, it was really a very funny moment because they quickly began to calculate my age, because I had my son just turned 18 years old.
Being a young mother was a set of emotions, because I had to decide about the things I wanted to do in life or the things I had to do and it was a sacrifice that as a young woman I had to face, I have seen cases of women who for having a child forget all their life projections, their professional goals and in my case it was the opposite, this was a motivation for me.

Yo tuve a mi primer hijo siendo muy joven, pero igual continuaron mis planes personales y profesionales, hasta que los obtuve, siempre he cumplido mis metas y ser madre joven no me limitó.

Anécdotas con mi madre

Las cosas que suelo recordar de mi mamá era su creatividad y la imaginación que ella tenía. Mi mamá era especialista contando historias que a nosotros nos encantaban, hacía unos ricos dulces criollos, era la animadora de todas las fiestas y celebraciones especiales.

Me apoyó mucho con mi primer hijo cuando comencé la universidad, siempre estuvo allí siendo una madre sobre protectora, quien estuvo pendiente de mí y de todos sus hijos y nietos, hasta su último suspiro de vida.

I had my first child when I was very young, but my personal and professional plans continued until I achieved them. I have always accomplished my goals and being a young mother did not limit me.
Anecdotes with my mother
The things I usually remember about my mother were her creativity and the imagination she had. My mom was a specialist in telling stories that we loved, she made delicious Creole sweets, she was the entertainer of all parties and special celebrations.
She was very supportive with my first son when I started college, she was always there being an over protective mother, who was there for me and all her children and grandchildren, until her last breath of her life.

Son tantas las cosas que recuerdo de ella que me ponen muy emotiva, siempre son muchas las cosas para recordar, muchas anécdotas, y aunque no esté presente físicamente estoy convencida de que las personas no mueren sino para quien las olvidan, por eso ella siempre está presente en mi día a día.

¿Qué significado tiene la palabra mamá?

En cuanto a la palabra mamá considero que engloba muchos términos como amor, entrega, sacrificio y fortaleza. Es un cúmulo de emociones positivas de alguien quien se dedicó a nosotros y tratamos de seguir su mismo ejemplo.

¿Cómo celebras el día de las madres?

Por lo general me gusta hacer actividades en la casa junto a mis hijos, me gusta preparar una torta, hacer alguna receta, ver una película, algunas veces salimos a pasear, pero por lo general me gusta estar en casa compartiendo con mis hijos.

There are so many things I remember about her that make me very emotional, there are always many things to remember, many anecdotes, and although she is not physically present I am convinced that people do not die but for those who forget them, that is why she is always present in my day to day.
What is the meaning of the word mother?
As for the word mother, I consider that it encompasses many terms such as love, dedication, sacrifice and strength. It is an accumulation of positive emotions from someone who dedicated herself to us and we try to follow her example.
**How do you celebrate Mother's Day? **
I usually like to do activities at home with my children, I like to prepare a cake, make a recipe, watch a movie, sometimes we go for a walk, but usually I like to be at home sharing with my children.

Creo que ser madre es sinónimo de familia, de apoyo mutuo. Yo por ejemplo tengo tres hijos con edades muy diferentes, ya mi hijo mayor tiene 20 años, está independizado y viendo en retrospectiva hace 20 años cuando lo tuve en mis brazos recuerdo esa misma emoción y me pongo a pensar todo lo que fue su crecimiento y evolución, el tiempo ha pasado volando.

Nuestros hijos con con el tiempo trazan su su propia vida, su propio camino, mientras nosotras nos dedicamos a cada uno de ellos, como una cadena, como ley de vida, hasta que son independientes y ya después de ese momento nos miramos, reflexionamos y vemos que hicimos un buen trabajo, así mismo lo vio mi mamá hace algunos años al ver realizados profesionalmente y personalmente a sus hijos, conoció a sus nietos y en cierto punto creo que sintió que podía partir en paz porque sabía que había hecho un buen trabajo.

Le doy gracias a Dios por haber tenido una buena madre y por poder celebrar otro día de las madres en compañía de mis hijos, estoy muy contenta porque sin ellos nada de esto tuviera sentido, quiero homenajear a todas las madres quienes día a día luchan y se entregan por darle una mejor vida a sus hijos, esas mujeres valerosas, guerreras, valientes y emprendedoras que a pesar de los obstáculos siempre luchan y se esfuerzan por sus hijos, a ellas envío un abrazo de solidaridad y afecto, de respeto y de agradecimiento por el gran trabajo que realizan. Feliz fin de semana para todos.

I believe that being a mother is synonymous with family, with mutual support. For example, I have three children of very different ages. My oldest son is now 20 years old, he is independent and looking back 20 years ago when I held him in my arms I remember that same emotion and I start thinking about his growth and evolution, time has flown by.
Our children with time trace their own life, their own path, while we dedicate ourselves to each one of them, as a chain, as a law of life, until they are independent and after that moment we look at ourselves, reflect and see that we did a good job, that is how my mother saw it a few years ago when she saw her children professionally and personally fulfilled, she met her grandchildren and at a certain point I think she felt she could leave in peace because she knew she had done a good job.
I thank God for having had a good mother and for being able to celebrate another Mother's Day in the company of my children, I am very happy because without them none of this would make sense, I want to pay tribute to all the mothers who day by day fight and devote themselves to give a better life to their children, those brave, warrior, courageous and enterprising women who despite the obstacles always fight and strive for their children, to them I send an embrace of solidarity and affection, respect and gratitude for the great work they do.
