Hoy, continuo haciéndoles un recorrido por las distintas edificaciones representativas de mi hermoso pueblo Caicara del Orinoco, ubicado en el Estado Bolivar, a orillas del rio padre, un pequeño lugar lleno de historia y tradiciones; la visita de hoy, la haremos a la casa de la cultura "Amalivaca", que debe su nombre a un héroe indígena, que vivo al norte del municipio en el siglo xviii; y, según cuenta la leyenda, fue el creador del mundo, la naturaleza, y los hombres!

Today, I continue making a tour of the various representative buildings of my beautiful town Caicara del Orinoco, located in Bolivar State, on the banks of the river father, a small place full of history and traditions; today's visit, we will visit the house of culture "Amalivaca", which owes its name to an indigenous hero, who lived north of the town in the eighteenth century; and, according to legend, was the creator of the world, nature, and men!
La casa de la cultura, se encuentra ubicada en la avenida Libertador, la principal del pueblo, teniendo fácil acceso, para llegar hasta ella, desde cualquier ligar del pueblo!
Lo primero que podemos notar, es que, como la mayoría de las edificaciones del lugar, esta construida en alto, con una larga escalera principal de 14 escalones, de granito, y en ambos lados tiene hermosos jardines enmarcados con cemento y recubiertos con cerámica color ladrillo, con plantas ornamentales, palmeras, y, la tradicional palma de coroba, fruta autóctona del municipio.
Al frente se observa la avenida, , del otro lado de la acera, esta una institución educativa!
The house of culture is located on Libertador Avenue, the main avenue of the town, with easy access from any part of town!
The first thing we can notice is that, like most of the buildings of the place, it is built high up, with a long main staircase of 14 steps, made of granite, and on both sides it has beautiful gardens framed with cement and covered with brick-colored ceramic, with ornamental plants, palm trees, and the traditional coroba palm, a native fruit of the municipality.
In front of the avenue, on the other side of the sidewalk, there is an educational institution!
La edificación esta dividida en tres partes, para fines diferentes, pero todos relacionados con la cultura; desde que entramos, se puede sentir la esencia del pueblo, y su historia narrada por la por la estructura misma!
La primera parte se llama: dirección de cultura y patrimonio, y esta identificada en la entrada por unos hermosos dibujos como el diamante, que es el recurso mineral representativo de las riquezas de nuestro municipio, la coroba, fruto típico, el arpa, instrumento representativo de nuestra música llanera, los jeroglíficos, representan los indígenas que habitan en la zona, y, el color amarillo, la bandera de nuestro municipio, y la abundancia de oro en nuestras tierras!
Este primer salon es utilizado para impartir a los niños de la zona, clases de música, esta abierto al publico de lunes a sábado dese las 8am hasta las 5pm, es un espacio amplio con salones, y, en su interior se pueden ver dibujos alusivos a la música, como: trompeta, saxofón, una niña cantando, y bailando, y todo lo relacionado con la música!
Este espacio, tiene techo de platabanda, lamparas, puertas de madera, y, grandes ventanas para iluminación del salon!
The building is divided into three parts, for different purposes, but all related to culture; from the moment you enter, you can feel the essence of the town, and its history narrated by the structure itself!
The first part is called: the direction of culture and heritage, and is identified at the entrance by beautiful drawings such as the diamond, which is the mineral resource representative of the riches of our municipality, the coroba, typical fruit, the harp, representative instrument of our llanera music, the hieroglyphics, representing the indigenous people who live in the area, and the yellow color, the flag of our municipality, and the abundance of gold in our lands!
This first room is used to teach music classes to the children of the area, it is open to the public from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 5pm, it is a large space with classrooms, and inside you can see drawings alluding to music, such as: trumpet, saxophone, a girl singing and dancing, and everything related to music!
This space has a silver roof.
La segunda parte es : turismo y eventos; un lugar que nos hace un hermoso recorrido por nuestra historia, mostrando unos hermosos jeroglíficos, que datan de la pre-historia, y, una prueba de la presencia de los indígenas en nuestro territorio; ademas figuras de aves como el tucan, y hermosas plantas!
The second part is: tourism and events; a place that makes us a beautiful journey through our history, showing beautiful hieroglyphs, dating from pre-history, and proof of the presence of indigenous people in our territory; also figures of birds like the toucan, and beautiful plants!
La ultima parte que visitamos es un gran salon, con un hermoso piso de granito, techo de madera reforzado con tubos, grandes ventanas para la iluminación; cuenta ademas con una tarima o escenario con 4 escalones para acceder a el!
Este espacio es utilizado para realizar eventos culturales, actos de grados, y diversas actividades!
The last part we visited is a large hall, with a beautiful granite floor, wooden ceiling reinforced with tubes, large windows for lighting; it also has a stage with 4 steps to access it!
This space is used for cultural events, graduation ceremonies, and various activities!
