| Hi friends! This year, the mushroom season was somewhat delayed. Since the beginning of November was rainy and warm, the mushrooms continued to grow in the forests. And these are not leftovers, but new young mushrooms (although there is no shortage of old, overripe mushrooms either). So this week I had one day off where I was able to go to the woods with my friends hoping to find some mushrooms. It was after a heavy rain, so the dirt road in the village that led to the forest was covered in puddles, and a thick fog was rising in the distance. | Привіт, друзі! Цього року грибний сезон дещо затягнувся. Оскільки початок листопада був дощовим і теплим, то гриби продовжували і досі рости у лісах. І це не залишки, а нові молоді гриби (хоча старих перезрілих грибів теж не бракує). Отож цього тижня я мав один вихідний день, коли я міг з друзями піти до лісу, сподіваючись знайти трохи опеньків. Це було після сильного дощу, тому ґрунтова дорога в селі, яка вела до лісу, була вкрита калюжами, а вдалині піднімався густий туман. |

| Bunches of honey mushrooms (Armillaria mellea) were visible among the fallen leaves. There were both young specimens and very old ones. I took only young honey mushrooms, which are only suitable for pickling. However, my friends also put old mushrooms in their buckets, believing that they can be dried and then used as a filling for dumplings. | Серед опалого листя виднілися купки опеньків (Armillaria mellea). Там були як молоді екземпляри, так і дуже старі. Я брав лише молоді опеньки, які придатні лише для маринування. Проте мої друзі також клали у свої відра і старі гриби, вважаючи, що їх можна висушити і потім використовувати як начинку для вареників. |
