Ропуха очеретяна (Bufo calamita)

Bufo is a family of amphibians of the tailless series (I looked up the definition in Wikipedia, because I have already forgotten a bit about the school's knowledge of zoology). Some do not distinguish frogs from frogs, but these are different families of tailless amphibians. Bufo, unlike frogs, do not live in water, although they like dark and humid places. There are two types of Bufo in Ukraine. The first is the common Bufo (B. bufo L.), which is also called the earth frog because it likes to live in the burrows of the earth. We have a basement with an earthen floor at home, so you can always meet Bufo of this species in spring or summer. There is also Bufo reed (B. calamita Laur.), Which is common in western Ukraine. Since I live, of course, in the west of our country, I was lucky to find and photograph a reed toad during one of my mushroom trips. This photo was taken in Yavoriv district of Lviv region.	Ропухові (Bufo) - це родина земноводних ряду безхвості (визначення подивився у Вікіпедії, бо вже трохи забув подаровані школою знання зоології). Дехто не відрізняє ропух від жаб, але це різні родини безхвостих земноводних. Ропухи, на відміну від жаб, не живуть у воді, хоча і полюбляють темні та вогкі місця. В Україні є два види ропух. Перший - це ропуха звичайна (В. bufo L.), яку ще називають земляною жабою, бо вона полюбляє жити в норах землі. У нас є підвал із земляною підлогою, то це там завжди весною чи влітку можна зустріти ропуху цього виду. Є ще ропуха очеретяна (В. calamita Laur.), яка поширена на заході України. Оскільки я живу, безумовно, на заході нашої держави, то мені пощастило знайти і сфотографувати очеретяну ропуху під час однієї зі своїх грибних подорожей. Це фото було зроблене у Яворівському районі Львівської області.
