Últimamente me he sentido algo desorientada en lo referente al dibujo y la ilustración digital, doblando y olvidando los dibujos o dejándolos de lado inconclusas, no me estaba sintiendo para nada cómoda con mis dibujos, así que tome un respiro y estuve viendo otros artistas y ayer con lo recopilado comencé una nueva practica con la cual gane un poco de confianza y es lo que le estaré mostrando a continuación.

Lately I have been feeling a bit disoriented when it comes to drawing and digital illustration, folding and forgetting the drawings or leaving them unfinished, I was not feeling comfortable at all with my drawings, so I took a break and was watching other artists and yesterday with what I collected I started a new practice with which I gained a little confidence and that is what I will be showing you next.

La referencia para esta ilustración la he tomado de Pinterest, me ha gustado mucho la pose del modelo, por lo cual fue la seleccionada para pintar, aunque cambie muchos de los detalles de la fotografía mi interés era solamente la pose.

The reference for this illustration I have taken from Pinterest, I really liked the pose of the model, so it was the one selected to paint, although I changed many of the details of the photograph my interest was only the pose.

Como dije al principio comenzó solamente como una practica por lo cual no tome capturas del proceso desde el momento uno, sino desde que ya había avanzado un poco en el rostro el cual era mi enfoque principal y es bastante notorio, a partir de este, los elementos circundantes carecen cara vez mas de detalles a medida que se alejan, fue este detalle el que me dio la idea para el gif, lo imagine como el enfoque de una cámara fotográfica, fue entonces que coloque los elementos propios de la pantalla de una cámara.

As I said at the beginning it started only as a practice so I did not take pictures of the process from the first moment, but since I had already advanced a little in the face which was my main focus and is quite noticeable, from this, the surrounding elements lack more and more detail as they move away, it was this detail that gave me the idea for the gif, I imagine it as the focus of a camera, it was then that I placed the elements of the screen of a camera.

Estaba muy enfocada en colocar los diferentes tonos del rostro, pues creo fue un elemento que tenia olvidado, pero también deje la linea en ultimo plano enfocándome en las formas y volúmenes para crear una ilustración mas pictórica que dibujística, para complementar el estilo de este ilustración unicamente he usado pinceles con textura de de cerdas gruesas.

I was very focused on placing the different tones of the face, because I think it was an element that I had forgotten, but I also left the line in the background focusing on the shapes and volumes to create a more pictorial illustration than drawing, to complement the style of this illustration I have only used brushes with thick bristle texture.

En cuanto complete el retrato del modelo, el siguiente reto fue darle vida al fondo, comencé por lo mas lejano, en el cual termine dibujando solo unas cuantas manchas con el pincel con textura de cerdas gruesas, para luego seguir con la comida sobre su mesa.

As soon as I completed the portrait of the model, the next challenge was to give life to the background, I started from the farthest part, in which I ended up drawing only a few spots with the brush with a thick bristle texture, and then I continued with the food on the table.

Para componer la comida sobre la mesa hice algo similar al fondo, esboce rápidamente los elementos sobre la mesa y comencé a darle forma a punta de brochazos a los vasos y demás platos sobre la mesa, la verdad fue un ejercicio que logro captar mi atención y me hizo sentir feliz de los resultados, espero que también haya sido del agrado de todos ustedes y sin mas que agregar me despido!
