En esta oportunidad escribo para unirme a la iniciativa Gracias a Hive pude, gracias a la invitación de mi amiga Jessica... les contare la importancia que ha tenido Hive para mi esta año me ha ayudado muchísimo y les contare de lo más importante que adquirido gracia a mis publicaciones, mi tableta digitalizadora.

I will tell you the importance that Hive has had for me this year has helped me a lot and I will tell you the most important thing that I acquired thanks to my publications, my digitizer tablet.

Desde hace un buen tiempo estaba interesada en este equipo, pero no tenía trabajo y estaba cuesta arriba comprarme una, entre tanto se esparció el COVID y tuve que pasar casi un año en casa donde no hay acceso a internet, aunque este tiempo no fue del todo desaprovechado pues mientras estuve en casa trabaje en mis cuadernos en técnica tradicional y tan pronto volví a la ciudad comencé por sugerencia de mi Amiga Irene Navarro a publicar mi trabajo personal en Hive, así como a participar en los diversos concursos e iniciativas sorteadas en las comunidades y en el corto periodo de unos tres meses logre hacer el dinero suficiente para comprarme mi asombrosa tableta que tanto anhelaba.

For a long time I was interested in this equipment, but I had no work and it was uphill to buy one, meanwhile COVID spread and I had to spend almost a year at home where there is no internet access, although this time was not entirely wasted because while I was at home I worked on my notebooks in traditional technique and as soon as I returned to the city I began at the suggestion of my friend Irene Navarro to publish my personal work in Hive, as well as to participate in various competitions and initiatives raffled in the communities and in the short period of about three months I managed to make enough money to buy my amazing tablet that I longed so much.

Antes de poseer mi tableta digitalizadora hacia mis ilustraciones con el sensor táctil de mi tableta que no me permitía la soltura necesaria en las líneas y aunque debido al tiempo que tenía haciendolo de esta forma ya había adquirido algo de práctica, pero el tiempo que tomaba realizar cada una de ellas era demasiado extenso, pues primero realizaba el lineart en Illustrator cuyo pincel estabiliza el trazo realizado y así conseguía líneas más precisas, sim embargo no he podido dominar por completo esta aplicación por lo que el posterior proceso de coloreado lo realizaba en Phososhop, una vez en allí debía limpiar las líneas y colorear todo.

Before owning my digitizing tablet I made my illustrations with the touch sensor of my tablet that did not allow me the necessary fluency in the lines and although due to the time I had doing it this way I had already acquired some practice, but the time it took to make each one of them was too long, because first I made the lineart in Illustrator whose brush stabilizes the stroke made and so I got more precise lines, however I have not been able to completely master this application so the subsequent coloring process was done in Phososhop, once there I had to clean the lines and color everything.

Ahora que poseo tableta he migrado de momento a la app de dibujo Paint tool SAI donde hago todo el proceso, la mayoría del tiempo realizo igualmente el boceto inicial en técnica tradicional, donde tengo mayo dominio pero ahora mis líneas son mucho más expresivas gracias a la cualidad de la tableta para distinguir la intensidad del trazo dependiendo de la presión que ejerza sobre esta, sin duda es una de las mejores adquisiciones que he hecho en la vida, estoy muy tan feliz y ahora puedo decir… Gracias a Hive puedo hacer hermosas ilustraciones y mejorar continuamente, porque además Hive me impulsa a crear nuevas cosas cada día para mostrar.

Now that I have a tablet I have migrated for the moment to the drawing app Paint tool SAI where I do the whole process, most of the time I also do the initial sketch in traditional technique, where I have more control but now my lines are much more expressive thanks to the quality of the tablet to distinguish the intensity of the stroke depending on the pressure exerted on it, it is certainly one of the best acquisitions I have made in life, I am very happy and now I can say .... Thanks to Hive I can make beautiful illustrations and improve continuously, because Hive also pushes me to create new things every day to show.
