Raven from Teen Titans FanArt - Digital Illustration [ENG-ESP]

hace unos día comencé como es habitual una practica de figura humana y la pose incluía una posición de manos tal bruja manifestando algún maleficio, esta bruja termino convirtiendo en Raven de los Jóvenes Titanes y me ha encantado el resultado, me gusto mucho también trabajar en base a este tipo de iluminación desde abajo y en general estoy muy contenta con este resultado, espero se queden a ver todo el proceso.

A few days ago I started as usual a practice of human figure and the pose included a position of hands such witch manifesting some evil spell, this witch ended up becoming Raven of the Teen Titans and I loved the result, I also liked a lot to work based on this type of lighting from below and in general I am very happy with this result, I hope you stay to see the whole process.

Tal como comente anteriormente solo comenzó como una practica de figura humana, las manos es algo que siempre procuro dibujar, aunque muchos consideren que son difíciles a mi me ayudan mucho y al contrario se me hace fáciles de dibujar.
como pueden ver en el boceto ya estaba probando algunos otros atuendos para ella, hasta que finalmente opte por colocarle la capa de Raven.

As I said before it only started as a practice of human figure, the hands is something that I always try to draw, although many consider that they are difficult to me they help me a lot and on the contrary they are easy to draw.
As you can see in the sketch I was already trying some other outfits for her, until I finally decided to put Raven's cape on her.

Luego coloque la base de color de la joven titan Raven cuyo atuendo oscuro esta dominado por el negro y el violeta, para la piel use un tono pálido y como la magia que estaría generando en sus manos seria luminosa decidí hacer una iluminación desde abajo de su cara.

Then I placed the base color of the young titan Raven whose dark attire is dominated by black and violet, for the skin I used a pale tone and as the magic that she would be generating in her hands would be luminous I decided to make a lighting from below her face.

A continuación procedí a intensificar los tonos oscuros, no estaba muy segura de como rebotaba la luz desde este angulo y fue algo complicado, ademas que el contraste de ambos colores se me hacia un poco difícil la tarea de mezclarlos correctamente, pero seguí algunas referencias de rostros con este tipo de iluminación y fui añadiendo de a poco los colores.

Next I proceeded to intensify the dark tones, I wasn't sure how the light bounced from this angle and it was a little complicated, besides the contrast of both colors made it a little difficult to mix them correctly, but I followed some references of faces with this type of lighting and I added the colors little by little.

Cuando ya tenia un poco mas claro el panorama, comencé a pintar el resto teniendo en cuenta el foco de luz se originaria en el centro de la imagen añadí estos tonos amarillentos sobre todas las superficies, para generar los volúmenes de su cuerpo y los pliegues de su capa, pinte también el resto de accesorios de su atuendo como el cinturón y el broche de la capa.

When I had a little clearer the picture, I began to paint the rest, taking into account that the focus of light would originate in the center of the image, I added these yellowish tones on all surfaces, to generate the volumes of his body and the folds of his cloak, I also painted the rest of the accessories of his attire as the belt and the brooch of the cloak.

A continuación hice algunas modificaciones, pensé que seria mucho mas dinámico que su pelo estuviera en movimiento, así que dibuje una nueva forma y quede encantada de lo mucho que mejoro esto la composición.

Next I made some modifications, I thought it would be much more dynamic if her hair was moving, so I drew a new shape and was delighted with how much better it made the composition.

Otro cambio que me pareció importante para elevar el ambiente de ritual malvado fue borrar su pupila y la iris de sus ojos y dejar sus ojos vacíos

Another change that I thought was important to elevate the evil ritual atmosphere was to erase his pupil and the iris of his eyes and leave his eyes empty.

A continuación procedí a pintar y texturizar su cinturón dorado y las joyas rojas, siempre disfruto mucho haciendo los degradados de los elementos metálicos y al final quedaron preciosos por el resto de su traje.

I then proceeded to paint and texturize her gold belt and red jewelry, I always really enjoy doing the gradients of the metallic elements and in the end they looked beautiful for the rest of her outfit.

Luego comencé a dibujar la joya que emanaría la luz de entre sus manos, preferí que esta fuera roja y con muchos lados irregulares, luego que coloree cada lado, degrade los colores y le agregue zonas mas brillantes y use algunos efectos de capa para hacer el efecto brillante

Then I started to draw the jewel that would emanate the light from between her hands, I preferred it to be red and with many irregular sides, then I colored each side, degrade the colors and added brighter areas and used some layer effects to make the shiny effect.

Y para finalizar solo debía dibujar los halos de luz que se escaparían entre sus dedos y en todas direcciones, provenientes de la joya entre sus manos, admito que al dibujar estos rayos de luz la ilustración cambio totalmente para mi y sentí que estaba finalizada, me pareció precioso todo el efecto que logre en esta ilustración.

And finally I just had to draw the halos of light that would escape between his fingers and in all directions, coming from the jewel in his hands, I admit that when I drew these rays of light the illustration changed completely for me and I felt that it was finished, I found it beautiful all the effect that I achieved in this illustration.

Aunque siempre si dibuje una luz desde el fondo para despegar la figura del fondo ya que tendían a unirse, esto ha sido todo de mi experiencia dibujando a Raven, espero que haya sido de su agrado y sin mas me despido...
