¡Saludos! Hoy les mostrare el vigésimo séptimo retrato de mi reto de dibujo, para este día consistía en dibujar al actor escogido en mi caso Benedict Cumberbatch siendo rubio, en mi búsqueda habitual en busca del retrato idóneo para cumplir el reto me encontré con una foto de el en la que interpreta a Julian Assange en la película The Fifth Estate (2013) que me parecio ideal para el reto.

Greetings! Today I will show you the twenty-seventh portrait of my drawing challenge, for this day was to draw the chosen actor in my case Benedict Cumberbatch being blond, in my usual search for the ideal portrait to meet the challenge I found a picture of him in which he plays Julian Assange in the movie The Fifth Estate (2013) that seemed ideal to the challenge.

El paso inicial para la realización de este retrato fue el boceto lineal, el cual se encontraba en perfil ¾ mirando hacia la derecha con una inclinación hacia abajo y sus manos se encuentran entrelazadas delante del rostro, para proporcionar debidamente el rostro se hizo mediante medición a partir de la imagen de referencia.

The initial step for the realization of this portrait was the linear sketch, which was in profile ¾ looking to the right with a downward slant and his hands are clasped in front of the face, to properly provide the face was done by measuring from the reference image.

Obtenido el dibujo lineal comencé a valorizar el rostro mediante el uso de tramas, la forma en la que me gusta comenzar es a partir de los ojos comenzando con las pupilas, a partir de allí continuo generando líneas finas en toda el área hasta conseguir el tono del área, siempre sin apartar la vista de la imagen de referencia.

Once the line drawing was obtained, I started to enhance the face by means of the use of wefts, the way I like to start is from the eyes starting with the pupils, from there I continue to generate fine lines throughout the area until I get the tone of the area, always without taking my eyes off the reference image.

Continúe este proceso hasta completar todo el rostro, y luego adicioné algunas luces con el uso del limpia tipo, este retrato se encuentra en una tonalidad media alta, debido a que en su mayoría los tonos presentes son tonos medios y altos, con apenas un 15% aproximadamente de tonos bajos.

I continued this process until I completed the whole face, and then I added some lights with the use of the type cleaner, this portrait is in a medium high tonality, due to the fact that most of the tones present are medium and high tones, with only 15% approximately of low tones.

Un detalle que me gustó mucho en este retrato y fue la razón por la cual lo elegí fue para dibujar sus manos entrelazadas, fue un poco difícil dibujar la forma en sí, pero a la hora de hacer la valorización todo se hizo un poco más sencillo y me gustó mucho el resultado.

A detail that I liked a lot in this portrait and was the reason why I chose it was to draw their hands intertwined, it was a little difficult to draw the shape itself, but when it came to making the valuation everything became a little easier and I really liked the result.
