¡Saludos amigos! Hace algunos días mi amiga @ irenenavarroart propuso una iniciativa debido a la víspera de navideña, esta consiste en hacer un regalo a algún hiver, este debe contar con alguna característica de la persona a la que va dirigida, yo tenía esta idea engavetada desde antes del cumpleaños de mi querida amiga, pero mi mala memoria me hizo pensar que era un día después y termine desistiendo de ella, sé que no es excusa… pero bueno quise aprovechar esta nueva oportunidad y esta vez sí regalar lo que tenía planificado, conozco un poco a Irene y sé que es fan de la estética gótica y yo quise regalarle esta ilustración semejando el estilo del arte de Tim Burton, espero que te guste @irenenavarroart

• Bases del concurso

Greetings friends! A few days ago my friend @ irenenavarroart proposed an initiative due to the eve of Christmas, this is to make a gift to some hiver, this must have some characteristic of the person to whom it is addressed, I had this idea in my mind since before the birthday of my dear friend, but my bad memory made me think it was a day later and ended up giving it up, I know it's no excuse .... but well I wanted to take this new opportunity and this time I wanted to give what I had planned, I know Irene a little and I know she is a fan of gothic aesthetics and I wanted to give her this illustration resembling the style of Tim Burton's art, I hope you like it @irenenavarroart

Lo primero que hice fue realizar un dibujo, tomando como referencia algunos de los personajes de sus films, para ello hice una búsqueda rápida en google, de películas como el cadáver de la novia, frankenwennie, el extraño mundo de Jack y por supuesto también estalkee el Facebook de mi amiga es busca de una foto para adaptarla a este estilo, siendo el siguiente el resultado.

Lo primero que hice fue realizar un dibujo, tomando como referencia algunos de los personajes de sus films, para ello hice una búsqueda rápida en google, de películas como el cadáver de la novia, frankenweenie, el extraño mundo de Jack y por supuesto también estalkee el Facebook de mi amiga es busca de una foto para adaptarla a este estilo, siendo el siguiente el resultado.

Luego comencé a colorear, también teniendo muy presente el estilo del artista, cuyos personajes siempre son de tez pálida, ojos y pomulos muy demarcados, para ello comencé aplicando una base de tono piel sobre la cual comencé a añadir las zonas más oscuras y aunque como mencione sus personajes suelen ser muy pálidos, no pude evita añadir algo de rubor en sus mejillas y nariz.

Then I started coloring, also keeping in mind the style of the artist, whose characters are always pale complexion, eyes and cheeks very demarcated, for this I started applying a skin tone base on which I began to add the darker areas and although as I mentioned his characters are usually very pale, I could not avoid adding some blush on their cheeks and nose.

Seguidamente procedí a colorear el resto de la ilustración, para lo cual he usado en su totalidad tonos bastante oscuros, luego en una capa superior he agregado una capa para añadir las luces mediante el filtro de iluminar, en el cual he dibujado algunas luces sobre su rostro y ropas, también oculta completamente la pada de líneas, lo cual fue un poco arriesgado para mi jaja.

Then I proceeded to color the rest of the illustration, for which I used quite dark tones, then in a top layer I added a layer to add the lights using the lighten filter, in which I drew some lights on his face and clothes, also completely hiding the lines, which was a bit risky for me haha.

Ahora déjenme comentarles de este detalle para nada planeado, mientras estaba colocando la base de color aun podía ver una capa de dibujo muy esquematizada de su mano izquierda, en la cual podía ver su estructura y pensé que hacer una mano mecánica seria increíble (algo así como Edward manos de tijera, pero del tejido) todos los que conocen a Irene saben que es muy talentosa en las labores de tejido, así que porque no hacer una mano mecánica secreto de esta habilidosa araña.

Now let me tell you about this detail not planned at all, while I was placing the colored base I could still see a very schematic drawing layer of her left hand, in which I could see its structure and I thought that making a mechanical hand would be amazing (something like Edward scissor hands, but weaving) everyone who knows Irene knows that she is very talented in weaving, so why not make a secret mechanical hand of this skilled spider.

@irenenavarro, en realidad espero que este regalo sea de tu agrado, tengo mucho tiempo pensando en él y no sabría cómo resultaría, te quiero mucho espero verte antes que acabe el año, pero si no es así quiero que sepas que te quiero mucho y que tengas una muy bonita navidad y un venturoso año nuevo.
