Kindness has a Receipt

Last Sunday, my friend said something to me and I am pondering over it. We went to a child dedication of our friend yesterday and a typical me, would have just shown my face in church and go back home to my bed because I need rest but rather, I sat with them till church service was over and still proceeded to the reception venue. You need to have a special place in my life that is when I can walk, run, fall down, get up and honor your invitation. My friend silver said she is shocked that I could stress myself like this for someone's event. she said normal me will just show face and disappear but here I am sitting till the reception is almost over. I smiled and told her the mother of the baby has a special place in my heart because of her kindness and this is the story.

One day we met ourselves in the market and we got to do market runs together, while going home I casually mentioned that since I spent the whole day in the market, I will sleep in my fashion shop to work so I will not disappoint any of my clients coming for their dress the next day. I did not know she heard that statement nor too it personal. Surprisingly, in the evening I was in the shop when she sent a plate of food for me and said I was thinking how you will eat since you are sleeping in the shop with no cooking utensils so I figured out you will be hungry and brought you food.

That act has always lived rent in my head and I will forever choose kindness every time, because she has a special place in my heart. I use every given opportunity to appreciate her show of kindness so I had to look my best to go celebrate with her. Even with my busy schedule I made my outfit in 3hrs to the event.

Showing kindness towards each other is our responsibility, kindness shouldn't come with inconveniences and intentions by the user. I truly believe that for each of us to show pure kindness we should be willing to shun parts that may feel entitled to the help we have shown and accept that sometimes you show people kindness without getting any in return. To build a better world, we all must make sacrifices and showing the purest form of kindness is a good way to lay the foundation. The reward doesn’t always come from the person you helped. But it always comes. So, here’s my word for you today: whether people notice your sacrifice or not, keep doing good. Keep showing kindness. Keep helping. Your reward may not be loud. It may not come immediately. But it will come. It always does.
