¿Quién me mostró el mundo del helado en cono?

Todo empezó cuando mi hermano y yo, cumplíamos los 17 años de edad, al tiempo que nos graduábamos de la secundaria [En Venezuela le decimos "liceo" a esa etapa educativa] unos de los hijos de una amiga de mi abuela paterna, invitó a mi hermano a laborar en su negocio - Que en aquel tiempo era de frappé - al tiempo que le enseñaba todo relacionado a las cremas de barquilla y el uso de todas las maquinarias.

Mi hermano siempre ha sido un hombre muy humilde y echao' pa' lante. Amante del oficio desde que aprendió y entendió, yo veía el procedimiento desde lejos, más no me metía ni preguntaba porque yo no laboraba allí.

Pasaron los años hasta 2018, en ese tiempo estaba desempleada y mi hermano trabajaba haciendo cono con el hermano de su jefe, este estaba en busca de una persona para hacer lo mismo así que me apunté al trabajo, sabía que no sería fácil por lo forzoso que era el trabajo y el único consuelo que tenía era el sueldo que él propuso.

It all started when my brother and I turned 17 years old, while we were graduating from high school [In Venezuela we call this educational stage "high school"] one of the children of a friend of my paternal grandmother invited my brother to work in his business - which at that time was a frappé - while teaching him everything related to nacelle creams and the use of all machinery.

My brother has always been a very humble man and I look forward to it. A lover of the trade since he learned and understood, I saw the procedure from afar, but I did not get involved or ask why I did not work there.

Years passed until 2018, at that time I was unemployed and my brother worked as a friend to his boss's brother, he was looking for a person to do the same so I signed up for work, I knew it would not be easy because of what was forced that was the job and the only consolation I had was the salary that he proposed.

Realicé conos por dos años con waffleras cuadradas, siempre cumpliendo los caprichos del jefe y de la clientela. Mi hermano se unió a mí y diario producíamos 1500 entre barquillas y super barquilla y mi hermano producía 2000 cestas diarias.

O sea, nos exprimían por la razón que nos aumentaba el sueldo semanal.

Todo iba en viento en popa hasta que llegó la pandemia del COVID 19. Todo se detuvo, mandaron a cerrar el negocio y el jefe entró en crisis.

La verdad me había asustado mucho, pensé en cómo comeríamos para las semanas siguientes, ¿El negocio seguiría?

La perdida de material producido fue grande, se perdieron galletas, cremas, brownies. Todo era un caos hasta que el jefe se le ocurrió colocar todo dentro del cono.

Al principio todo fue ensayo y error hasta que resultó Mi hermano y yo fuimos parte de las primeras producciones de los famosos BARQUILLONES aunque no lo crean.

Sí no fuera por la idea de mi jefe y el ingenio de mi hermano y yo, en aragua -Venezuela nunca se fuera conocido tal producto.

Recuerdo que mi hermano me dijo: Te voy ha enseñar todo lo que sé así que toma nota ¡y boom! Tengo la experiencia necesaria, lo único que no aprendí fue la parte electrónica porque le tengo pavor a la electricidad.

Trabajé otro buen tiempo hasta que renuncié por maltrato laboral y la disminución de sueldo.

Lamentablemente la situación en Venezuela no es favorable y conseguir trabajo no ha sido fácil.

If it weren't for the idea of ​​my boss and the ingenuity of my brother and I, such a product would never be known in Aragua -Venezuela.

I remember my brother telling me: I'm going to teach you everything I know so take note and boom! I have the necessary experience, the only thing I did not learn was the electronic part because I have a fear of electricity.

I worked another good time until I quit due to mistreatment and the decrease in salary.

Unfortunately the situation in Venezuela is not favorable and getting a job has not been easy.
