Before returning to the city of Khon Kaen
🌺 Today I have to travel back to the city of Khon Kaen. On the way, I stopped at Wat Pa Kittiyanusorn. I parked my car in the parking . Then I walked around the golden pagoda. in a quiet atmosphere Only the sound of birds and the wind blowing leaves surrounded the temple. Of course, this moment of calm gave me inner peace of mind. Walking around the pagoda, I walked up to the pavilion with a large reclining Buddha statue. Around the pavilion there is a picture of the history of the Buddha carved from stone. Let the devotees learn the history of Buddhism through this art. The best coming to the temple for me was at a time when there was little crowd like today.

This temple is outrageous in its size and design. The reclining Buddha is unusual. I would have thought it would be in a more "spiritual" position than just lying on it's side.
Off-topic, but I've always wondered how you have such fair skin (pale) when it is 30+ degrees all year round in Thailand?
There are many large Buddha statues in temples in Thailand. The religious people who have donated money to fund the construction of the Buddha statue. They believe that these are good deeds and will go to heaven after leaving this world.😁
As for my skin color, it's probably because of my ancestor's genetic inheritance that they had yellowish-white skin.😉

Money laundering question, his question is interesting because I sometimes have that thought. Money laundering can occur in large temples where wealthy devotees donate for the construction. Within those temples, but religious bodies, as far as I know, do not take this seriously. I may not be able to give you a proven answer. Therefore, it is only an opinion. 😅

I like my skin tone looks like this from birth without the use of chemical whitening agents. Because usually applying the cream on the body is something I don't really like. 😁
