The field of hydroponics combines gardening with fish ponds. One uses the waste from the garden to feed the fish. They then use the waste from the ponds to feed the garden. This seems like the best approach to fish farming as the garden is likely to start paying off before the fish pond pays off.

Thanks for the insight, if practiced it will be like a recycling of waste nutrients. There by saving feeding cost and simultaneously improving growth of the livestock.
