Speak Softly, Love - Nino Rota (Cover) [SPA/ENG]

Cuando se trata de películas, hay música que sin duda es una referencia. Hoy les traigo mi interpretación con la trompeta de Speak Softly Love, compuesta por Nino Rota. Esta canción fue escrita para la primera parte de la película El Padrino de 1972. He tenido la oportunidad de ver la trilogía protagonizada por Marlon Brando y Al Pacino; y sin duda es una de las películas de culto más influyente de la historia. La letra de la canción es de Larry Kusik. La melodía es influenciada por dos Óperas italianas que he tenido la oportunidad de escuchar, en la cual quiero destacar la obertura de La Forza del Destino de Giuseppe Verdi. Una de las cosas que he aprendido es que la música clásica se ha usado en el Cine como un recurso para expresar diferentes emociones, pensamientos e ideas.

When it comes to movies, music is a reference. Today I bring my interpretation with the trumpet of Speak Softly Love, composed by Nino Rota. This song was written for the first part of the movie The Godfather of 1972. I have had the opportunity to see the trilogy starring Marlon Brando and Al Pacino; and without a doubt, it is one of the most influential cult films in history. The lyrics of the song are by Larry Kusik. The melody is influenced by two Italian Operas that I have had the opportunity to listen to. I want to highlight the overture of La Forza del Destino by Giuseppe Verdi. One of the things I have learned is that classical music has been used in the cinema as a resource to express different emotions, thoughts, and ideas.

Se han imaginado alguna vez una película sin Música, yo me saldría del cine a los minutos. Sin duda la música pone el clima en las películas, nos prepara para los eventos que ocurrirán, nos tramiten emociones y nos conecta con los personajes. Si alguno ha tenido la oportunidad de ver la Vida es Bella, hay melodías que te generan felicidad, suspenso y tristeza, igualmente sucede con La Lista Schindler. Y cuando se trata de melodías como las de Indiana Jones, y Star Wars, o películas de superhéroes de Marvel o DC, definitivamente nuestro cuerpo puede sentir la adrenalina y las emociones de los personajes. Siempre he sentido curiosidad por la música cinematográfica, y por los efectos de sonido. Uno de los directores y compositores que siento una gran admiración es John Williams, autor de poderosas bandas sonoras de películas, como Harry Potter, Parque Jurásico y otras.

Have you ever imagined a movie without music? I would leave the cinema in minutes. Without a doubt, music sets the mood in the movies, prepares us for the events that will occur, processes emotions in us, and connects us with the characters. If anyone has had the opportunity to see Life is Beautiful, some melodies generate happiness, suspense, and sadness, the same happens with Schindler's List. And when it comes to melodies like those of Indiana Jones, Star Wars, or Marvel or DC superhero movies, our body can feel the adrenaline and the emotions of the characters. I've always been curious about film music, and sound effects. One of the directors and composers that I greatly admire is John Williams, author of powerful movie soundtracks, such as Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, and others.
