Algunos de los lugares que disfruto plenamente están vinculados con el mar, me encanta ir a la playa. Considero que es terapéutico, donde la brisa y el sonido de las olas de mar son música para mis oídos. Hay viajes inolvidables, y esa conexión viene por las personas que me han acompañado, la comida, la arena entre las manos y pies, las actividades recreativas en la playa y la música. Uno de esos ritmos que tiene una poderosa conexión con el mar es el reggae, aunque este proviene de una isla del caribe, como lo es Jamaica, Venezuela no escapa de su influencia. Pienso que la mayoría de nosotros apenas escucha las palabras reggae, Jamaica o Rasta, inmediatamente surge una relación con Bod Marley, uno de los representantes más significativos del género. En Venezuela tenemos grandes bandas como Desorden Público, King Changó, Rawayana, y Mulato. He tenido la oportunidad de escucharlas a todas en vivo, y ha sido una experiencia relax. También me gustan bandas e intérpretes latinoamericanos como Gondwanna, Los Cafres, Los Pericos, Dread Mar-I y Cultura profética.

Some of the places that I fully enjoy are linked to the sea, I love going to the beach. I consider it therapeutic, where the breeze and the sound of the sea waves are music to my ears. There are unforgettable trips, and that connection comes from the people who have accompanied me, the food, the sand between my hands and feet, the recreational activities on the beach, and the music. One of those rhythms that has a powerful connection with the sea is reggae, although it comes from a Caribbean island, such as Jamaica, Venezuela does not escape its influence. I think that most of us hardly hear the words reggae, Jamaica, or Rasta, immediately a relationship with Bod Marley arises, one of the most significant representatives of the genre. In Venezuela we have great bands like Desorden Público, King Changó, Rawayana, and Mulato. I have had the opportunity to listen to all of them live, and it has been a relaxing experience. Hoy quiero compartir mi interpretación con la trompeta de un tema que es un clásico del reggae, «Is This Love» una canción de Bob Marley y los Wailers, es parte del álbum Kaya de 1978.
