Hay tantas cosas que son inolvidables en nuestras vidas, recordamos nuestra niñez entre juegos y risas. Recordamos aquellos regalos de navidad, los bailes y las canciones. Recordamos la primera vez que nos enamoramos, y los momentos más felices junto a nuestra familia y nuestros amigos. Hay lugares que se quedan en nuestros recuerdos para siempre. Muchos de los recuerdos que son inolvidables para mí están vinculados con el mar. La playa es uno de mis parajes favoritos. Algunos viajes que recuerdo de mi niñez los hice con mi familia, era una aventura increíble. Nos levantábamos muy temprano, creo que no dormíamos de la ansiedad. Incluso teníamos la ropa preparada con tiempo. Entonces comenzaba nuestra excursión con varios vehículos, entre vecinos y familiares. Eso parecía una mudanza. 😊 Luego, cuando fuimos creciendo y comenzamos a independizarnos, nos íbamos con amigos. Recuerdo que pasamos una semana en Cayo Sombrero, Falcón, Venezuela e incluso celebramos el año nuevo en la playa. En otra oportunidad duramos una semana en un paseo por la montaña, caminábamos por el pueblo y finalmente terminábamos en carpas sobre la fina área del mar. Otra semana mágica fue un viaje a Margarita, Nueva Esparta, una hermosa Isla de Venezuela. Cada amanecer y cada atardecer, con sus colores y olores, un hermoso recuerdo inolvidable.

Una canción popular que nos habla de recuerdos es «Unforgettable» tema popularizado por Nat King Cole, una mezcla de Pop y R&B escrita por Irving Gordon en 1951. El tema se llamaba Incomparable, pero por sugerencia de la compañía discográfica le pusieron Inolvidable. El tema lo escuché muchas veces de niño, e incluso lo toqué con la orquesta de la escuela de música. Fue en una oportunidad que vi un documental de Nat King Cole en la televisión que descubrí que mucho de los temas clásicos que había escuchado en películas eran interpretados por él.
