Lo que siempre llamó poderosamente mi atención fue esa versatilidad que tenía tanto para el cine como para la televisión y hasta el teatro, una multifaceta que quedó manifestada de una manera absoluta en cada uno de sus trabajos.

Su ductilidad corporal, sus expresiones faciales y el absoluto desparpajo con los que expresaba las calamidades de la vida cotidiana la hicieron famosa y memorable en el tiempo.

Todo eso dejó muy claro el talento de esta gran actriz que tanto dentro como fuera de escena dejó también muy claro, en una época muy tradicional, que las mujeres eran capaces de ser exitosas dentro y fuera de sus hogares.

Lucille Ball vivió hasta los 77 años (1989) y en el año 2001, el Servicio Postal de los Estados Unidos la honró con un sello postal conmemorativo como parte de su serie de leyendas de Hollywood.
