Pineapples!

Hello, Asean Hive friends, How are you all?
I pray that you are all fine and are in good health and safety.

For my article today, I will be sharing about these men who were packing pineapples in boxes for selling.

By the way, do you have lots of pineapples in your place?
A few kilometers from where I live, there are vast pineapple plantations from Delmonte Philippines.

And these pineapples have not passed the quality that is required for the canned pineapples that will reach your place. In fact, these are already called rejects and were sold, not only to regain and profit but to get rid of something that the company does not want to throw away.

Teh pineapples were sold per kilo from teh factory but then they will be sold per piece; depends on the seller. some even sell them already sliced but of course, they are already pricey.

I don't really eat many pineapples though it has lots of vitamin C. Its acidity can harm my tongue making it very painful.

But what I like about it most is dipping the flesh in salt and chili, they taste the best.

I'm not a fan of pineapple as my tongue is very sensitive but my mom's secret made me astonish as she will cook it first to reduce the acidity level.

That's great too! Pineapple jam are also best when paired with bread or eaten alone. Yet they are too sweet

Talag ba sis? Na ko wag masyado kumain sapagkat nakaka sira ng ngipin yung acidity nya.

Dito samin sis libre haha. Minsan unli kapag daming rejects dunsa company. Try mo isawsaw sa sili and asin sis. The best. Ooh I'm drooling on the thought

Do add some chilies next time, it will add to the aftertaste. Delicious, but don't if you don't like hot foods.

I like it, but it has to be a balanced combination because it really has to be between salt and chili.

Funny, I just ate a whole pineapple by myself yesterday. My family doesn't like them because they say it burns their tongue. I like the acidity, but I understand why some people would not like the flavor.

Are these reject pineapples cheaper than buying from a local market or seller?

I'm sorry about the word count.

These are cheaper than what's sold in the mall I mean. These are the ones sold in the market, like small sale ones. But some takes these to other places that doesn't have lots of pineapples like Manila to sell on a higher price.
