Greetings to all, my friend @cochanet invited me to this initiative to talk about the power of my female herd, of course I couldn't refuse, because I come from a family where we are more women than men and there has always been support between us ladies in any situation, my parents had 7 female daughters and only 3 males, in addition my mother died relatively young at 51 years old, that meant that we older sisters (I am the third) have always felt a maternal bond towards the younger ones , but the anecdotes that I will tell you below show that the support comes from both sides and the younger sisters have also supported me when I needed it.

As I have published many times, I married an older man, I had my two daughters and unfortunately he became ill with senile dementia and years later he died of a heart attack, but at the time he was mentally ill, those were very hard years for me and my daughters, my late husband worked as long as his mental abilities allowed, I dedicated myself to the home and occasionally did work, that is, selling cosmetic products, ice cream, things without a stable profit, he began to need exclusive attention, because I he could not even leave the house because he was lost in the street, so he had to be aware of him, his medicines, food and personal hygiene, at that time he did not have any pension due to age or disability, all the burden fell on my shoulders and I couldn't look for a job to take care of him, my two daughters were in college and they did their best to pay for their expenses without dropping out.
I was in a stressful and at the same time vulnerable situation, I was worried about my husband and how I could get ahead with him without any kind of financial help or the possibility of working to take care of him at home, so that's where my herd of women appeared to support me. , my sisters, all of them carried their own economic problems but they were always there, there is a popular saying that says that the one who has the least is the one who gives the most, I know that it is so, my sisters did things for me that anyone would not do, for example, my sister Macarena is the middle sister, she has always been a very hard-working woman who always takes care of everyone in the family, she worked at that time selling vegetables and fruits in the municipal market of my city , in this market the vendors meet on Mondays and it is an open-air market, I remember that I went on Mondays with very little money and sometimes with nothing because my sister insisted that I go, she always kept me from what she was selling, for example bags of pineapple, bananas and some other fruit, she managed to exchange with her fellow sellers of other types of vegetables and fruits, she ends up giving me a big bag full so that I could take home and make food for myself and my husband, she always told me that she would deal with the other vendors, she even went to her opposites and little by little she was gathering the vegetables for me without having to pay, my sister Macarena saved us all those Mondays that I went to the market and she, without having money, gave us much more than any material thing, she gave us real and sincere support with all her heart and all her good will.

At that same time my sister Migdalia was also very supportive to me, she lived in another city with her husband, sometimes I managed to go there for a week, so I worked cleaning the house of some people and also helping them my sister with housework, at the end of the week she went to buy food for her pantry and also bought things for me, for example, if she went to the butcher shop, she would buy a chicken for me to bring home, and that way she would give me anything of what she bought for her house, that is, she shared her food with me and she always told me that it was to make soup for my husband who was sick, unfortunately my husband's older children did not take good care of him while I was away that I could not continue traveling to work as a domestic in the other city, but I will always thank my sister Migdalia, who is also one of the minors, for having helped me when I needed it most.

Many times I look at the past, I see that difficult time and I wonder how I survived, the answer comes to my mind and comforts my heart, I got ahead thanks to the love of my family and especially my sisters, I only mentioned two but all They were present at a certain time with their support. I never felt alone or unprotected because my family was with me and I hope God gives me a lot of life to continue sharing quality time with my family.

Felicidades.
