Si tuviéramos el poder de ver el futuro las decisiones que tomaramos fueran todas acertadas, ya que al saber que depara el futuro no fuera una probabilidad sino una seguridad, lamentablemente la vida no es asà y nos reta a hacer las cosas para arriesgarnos en todo lo bueno que queremos, ya que todo lo bueno se lucha y se trabaja.
El futuro es incierto pero es importante ver las decisiones que tomamos hoy son esas que van a repercutir en el futuro, por eso una de las cosas más importantes es saber tomar decisiones, cuando uno es adolescente es muy volátil toma decisiones a la ligera porque no ve más allá del momento en que estamos, pero cuando uno va madurando uno comprende que las decisiones son más importantes si queremos obtener el futuro que anhelamos.
Cuando tomamos decisiones transcendentales en la vida debemos analizar los pro y los contra, esto muchas veces no lo hacemos sino que nos dejamos llevar por la emociĂłn y los sentimientos que muchas veces deciden sin la razĂłn, sin pensar; cuando maduramos somos capaces de dejar los sentimientos a un lado y ver si eso que queremos es el verdadero camino que hemos elegido.
Por ejemplo uno cuando esta joven muchas veces pierde oportunidades por miedo, por no saber que depara el futuro y pensar que es mejor seguir el mismo curso que arriesgarse, pero las decisiones importantes se trata de arriesgarse y eso lo aprendà mucho tiempo después.
Al igual que cuando nos enamoramos y tomamos la decisión de casarnos, es una de las decisiones más importantes y transcendentales de nuestra vida, y muchas veces está decisión la tomamos con el corazón y no con la mente, y si hay que hacerle caso corazón pero también es importante analizar los pro y los contra de casarnos con esa persona, analizar si realmente es la persona indicada para nosotros.
Esto también lo traigo a colación pues tengo adolescentes en casa y nosotros logramos ver cosas que ellos no ven, pues ya nosotros pasamos por allà y ojalá en mi caso hubiese tomado mejores decisiones o haber escuchado la voz de la experiencia, pero nadie aprende por experiencia ajena por eso es que las decisiones que tomamos hoy son muy importantes para el futuro que queremos.
En mi caso me equivoque en muchas decisiones de la vida, por no pensar bien las cosas, hay decisiones que salieron muy mal y otras que fueron exitosas, lo importante es aceptar las cosas que salieron bien y asumir para aprender las que no salieron también, y algunas veces seguimos tomando malas decisiones pero tenemos la capacidad de comenzar de nuevo y por eso es mejor tratar de tomar buenas decisiones y seguir adelante cuando no salgan como pensamos.

As teenagers, we’re very impulsive and make decisions lightly because we can’t see beyond the moment we’re in, but as we mature, we come to understand that decisions are more important if we want to achieve the future we long for.
When we make life-changing decisions, we must weigh the pros and cons. Often, we fail to do this and instead let ourselves be carried away by emotions and feelings that frequently dictate our choices without reason or thought. As we mature, we become capable of setting our feelings aside and determining whether what we want is truly the path we have chosen.
For example, when you’re young, you often miss out on opportunities because of fear because you don’t know what the future holds and think it’s better to stick to the same path than to take a risk. But important decisions are all about taking risks, and I learned that much later.
Just like when we fall in love and decide to get married it’s one of the most important and life changing decisions we’ll ever make and often we make that decision with our hearts rather than our minds. And while we should listen to our hearts, it’s also important to weigh the pros and cons of marrying that person, to figure out if they’re really the right one for us.
I bring this up because I have teenagers at home, and we can see things they don’t, since we’ve been through it ourselves. I wish, in my case, I had made better decisions or listened to the voice of experience, but no one learns from others’ experiences that’s why the decisions we make today are so important for the future we want.
In my case, I’ve made a lot of mistakes in life because I didn’t think things through. Some decisions turned out very badly, while others were successful. The important thing is to accept the things that went well and learn from the ones that didn’t. Sometimes we still make bad decisions, but we have the ability to start over. That’s why it’s better to try to make good decisions and keep moving forward even when things don’t go as planned.
