No sé cómo será en otras partes del mundo, pero acá en Venezuela todavía un gran porcentaje de la población utiliza estos cilindros para almacenar el gas doméstico, combustible utilizado para alargar la vida de las llamas con el que se cosen la mayoría de los alimentos que consume la población.

Hasta hace algunos años el abastecimiento estaba funcionando "correctamente", pero varios cambios en los métodos de distribución han generado algo de incertidumbre, inconformidad y hasta descontrol pues ahora mismo una parte del protagonismo es asumida por los mismos vecinos y definitivamente todavía falta hacer muchas cosas para estabilizar todo lo que refiere al tema.

I do not know how it is in other parts of the world, but here in Venezuela a large percentage of the population still uses these cylinders to store domestic gas, a fuel used to extend the life of the flames with which most of the food consumed by the population is sewn.

Until a few years ago the supply was working "correctly", but several changes in the distribution methods have generated some uncertainty, dissatisfaction and even lack of control because now a part of the protagonism is assumed by the neighbors themselves and definitely still need to do many things to stabilize everything that refers to the subject.

La solución a esta realidad pasa por muchos factores, pero no estoy interesado en emitir opiniones de este tipo, pues lo que quiero realmente mostrar es la experiencia que me ha tocado afrontar debido a que hay muchas personas que están dispuestas a criticar, hacer exigencias pero al momento de apoyar, hacer mano de la empatía, la colaboración y el trabajo en equipo, no están muy ganadas para resolver situaciones que afectan a un colectivo.

Así que, desde hace un par de meses estoy colaborando con los vecinos de mi cuadra para hacer todos el proceso administrativo, logístico y operativo para hacer llegar el gas doméstico a cada una de las familias que componen una buena parte de mi comunidad.

The solution to this reality depends on many factors, but I am not interested in issuing opinions of this type, because what I really want to show is the experience that I have had to face because there are many people who are willing to criticize, make demands but when it comes to support, make use of empathy, collaboration and teamwork, they are not very won to solve situations that affect a collective.

So, for a couple of months I have been collaborating with the neighbors of my block to make all the administrative, logistical and operational process to get the domestic gas to each of the families that make up a good part of my community.

Cuando hago un recuento y coloco en una balanza lo vivido, siento que ha sido algo reconfortante tener la posibilidad de ayudar, de conversar con los vecinos, las personas que durante muchos años la máxima interacción ha sido un simple "Hola, como esta". Estar de cerca y ser testigo de sus necesidades mas sentidas, también de sus fortalezas como familia, sus inquietudes, es en ese momento cuando uno comprueba lo que siempre había manejado como teoría, “Cada cabeza es un mundo”. Y pues si se amplía, cada familia, cada hogar experimenta realidades distintas y ni se diga las percepciones y que estando ahí cerca puedes escuchar el sentir de todas estas.

When I make a recount and place on a scale what I have experienced, I feel that it has been something comforting to have the opportunity to help, to talk with neighbors, people that for many years the maximum interaction has been a simple "Hello, how are you". Being close and witnessing their most felt needs, also their strengths as a family, their concerns, it is at that moment when you check what I had always handled as a theory, "Each head is a world". And if it expands, each family, each home experiences different realities and not to mention the perceptions and that being there close you can hear the feelings of all of them.

Lo mas importante es el saldo positivo que puedes encontrar cuando realizas un recuento y observas la expresión de satisfacción de las personas cuando sienten que alguien les tiende la mano, es como si en ningún momento fuesen dudado que la ayuda venia en camino. Entonces puedes ver en sus rostros una sonrisa que simboliza la expresión que muchas veces hemos escuchado, "borrón y cuenta nueva".

The most important thing is the positive balance that you can find when you make a count and observe the expression of satisfaction of the people when they feel that someone is reaching out to them, it is as if they never doubted that help was on its way. Then you can see on their faces a smile that symbolizes the expression we have often heard, "clean slate".

La respuesta, ayudar y hacer posible una expresión de felicidad en sitios donde parece que el sol no amanece todos los días. // Among the most common questions I have heard these days has been, "What did it gain to be there? The answer, to help and make possible an expression of happiness in places where the sun doesn't seem to rise every day.
