Así le dimos la bienvenida al mes decembrino en el liceo Ezequiel Bujanda. La ExpoFeria 2025 se planificó para que cada una de las secciones, por grado, realizara una expresión artística por región con alusión a las fiestas navideñas. También se tomó en cuenta la parte gastronómica, costumbres y todo lo que engloba la celebración de los días más esperados del año.

This is how we welcomed the month of December at Ezequiel Bujanda High School. ExpoFeria 2025 was planned so that each grade level would create an artistic expression by region alluding to the Christmas holidays. Gastronomy, customs, and everything else that encompasses the celebration of the most anticipated days of the year were also taken into account.

Una de las cosas que más agradó, gran acierto, fue la ambientación de cada uno de los grados, en esta ocasión fue realizada en las afueras de cada una de las aulas de clase. Fue realmente un desafío porque los estudiantes debían llegar temprano y coordinar con el personal obrero para trasladar las mesas, las sillas y todos los materiales que se tenían que colgar en los alrededores. Al final se logró el cometido y todo quedó en su lugar.

One of the things that was most appreciated, and a great success, was the decoration of each grade level, which on this occasion was done outside each classroom. It was really a challenge because the students had to arrive early and coordinate with the maintenance staff to move the tables, chairs, and all the materials that had to be hung up around the perimeter. In the end, the task was accomplished and everything was in place.

La mañana estuvo cargada de muchos colores, los estudiantes, representantes y todo el personal de la institución, obrero, administrativo y docente, se entregaron a la celebración. Todos abocados, en plena colaboración para que no escapara ningún detalle.

The morning was filled with many colors, and the students, representatives, and all the staff of the institution, including workers, administrators, and teachers, devoted themselves to the celebration. Everyone was fully engaged and collaborated so that no detail would be overlooked.

Una de las presentaciones más divertidas y más esperadas fueron los zaragozas, un baile folclórico oriundo de las zonas rurales del estado Lara. El pueblo de Sanare es el más conocido por estas actividades culturales, sin embargo, El Tocuyo, Curarigua de Leal y otros pueblos más chicos también tienen sus propias versiones para representar el hecho histórico cristiano de los santos inocentes, celebrado todos los 28 de diciembre de cada año.

One of the most entertaining and eagerly awaited performances was the zaragozas, a folk dance originating in the rural areas of Lara state. The town of Sanare is best known for these cultural activities, but El Tocuyo, Curarigua de Leal, and other smaller towns also have their own versions to represent the Christian historical event of the Holy Innocents, celebrated every December 28.

Los llanos venezolanos tuvieron una presentación espectacular de la mano de los estudiantes de 4to año, también hubo un espacio para representar a los pueblos ancestrales de la zona de Bolívar y Amazonas. Por otro lado, hubo un espacio para compartir y se aprovechó para cantar el cumpleaños del liceo, que coincide con estas fechas. Cada grado trajo una torta, así que todos tuvieron la oportunidad de comer, reírse, bailar, aplaudir y disfrutar al máximo cada una de las actividades planificadas para este día especial.

The Venezuelan plains were spectacularly presented by the 4th-year students, and there was also a space to represent the ancestral peoples of the Bolívar and Amazonas regions. On the other hand, there was a space for sharing, which was used to sing happy birthday to the school, which coincides with these dates. Each grade brought a cake, so everyone had the opportunity to eat, laugh, dance, applaud, and enjoy each of the activities planned for this special day to the fullest.
