Una tradición que nos une desde hace muchos años. En "Campo Alegre" se celebra desde tiempos inmemoriales "El robo y la búsqueda del niño", una tradición que tiene su origen en la época colonial.

La mama segunda camacaro llena de luz durante todo el año el caserío y en especial en épocas decembrinas con la puesta del tradicional pesebre.

La tradición dicta que luego del 6 de enero, quizás antes, otra familia puede robarse al niño del pesebre para luego planificar su búsqueda acompañada de música, aguinaldos y la parranda que recorre todos los rincones del campo.

Cuando se da con el paradero, la familia en cuestión ofrece la tradicional chicha y una buena tasa de sopa en medio de cánticos y mucha algarabía, para luego emprender el camino y devolver el niño al pesebre original.

Al llegar a casa, la parranda sigue. El cuatro, la tambora y las maracas hacen lo suyo. Nunca falta la lluvia de caramelos para los niños, el cariño y la alegría que se respira en el patio de cada hogar campoalegreño y en particular, en la casona de Segunda Camacaro.

Se acaban las pascuas en el campo, deseando que la esperanza y la alegría de estos niños permanezcan por siempre en los corazones de todos los Curarigueños.

When the whereabouts are found, the family in question offers the traditional chicha and a good cup of soup amidst songs and much merriment, and then sets out on the road to return the child to the original manger.

When they get home, the parranda continues. The cuatro, the tambora and the maracas do their thing. The shower of candies for the children, the affection and joy that is breathed in the courtyard of every Campoalegreño home and in particular, in the house of Segunda Camacaro.

Easter is over in the countryside, wishing that the hope and joy of these children remain forever in the hearts of all Curarigueños.
