Celebrating One More Year / Cumpliendo Un Años Más

For me April is a month of celebration and joy, because every 24th of that month I have the opportunity to share with my family and friends one more year of life, it is a very special date because it keeps in my heart a deep feeling of joy, but at the same time it pushes me to move forward in building new goals and challenges. I am a person who likes to share healthily, enjoy a good time and gather family and friends in the same space, but the ups and downs of life have forced me to focus a lot on work and move away a little from social life, which I personally miss.

Currently I have three jobs and in them I have managed to generate a group of friends with whom I relate very well, they appreciate me a lot and always have a nice gesture for me, but that day April 24 I only had to attend the afternoon work which is in a gym, there I am a sports coach and I am in charge of several groups of people, When I arrived I was surprised to find empty facilities, which caused me some discomfort, as that would generate delay in the routines, but well I took a deep breath and sat down to wait, that's how it was when after about 30 minutes my group of students arrived with great joy with refreshments, a cake and a festive spirit, they hugged me congratulated me and gave me several things.

Actualmente cuento con tres trabajos y en ellos he logrado generar un grupo de amigos con los cuales me relaciono muy bien, ellos me aprecian mucho y siempre tienen un gesto agradable para mí, pero ese día 24 de abril solo me tocaba asistir al trabajo de la tarde el cual es en un gimnasio, allí soy entrenador deportivo y tengo a mi cargo a varios grupos de personas, al llegar me sorprendió encontrarme con instalaciones vacías, lo cual me genero algo de molestia, ya que eso generaría retraso en las rutinas, pero bueno respire hondo y me senté a esperar, fue así cuando pasada unos 30 minutos mi grupo de alumnas llegan con mucha alegría con refrescos, una torta y un espíritu festivo, me abrazaron me felicitaron y me regalaron varias cosas.

But the highlight of the whole day was when before singing the birthday, Mrs. Yolita arrived on her bicycle, she is a colleague of my work in the mornings, which I had not attended because of the suspension of classes, so I could not share with those colleagues, But even so she came with a delicious pumpkin cake, which was self-made, she also gave me two beautiful balloons and a big hug, this is how we proceeded to sing birthdays, to share and to spend a different time, where the joy united us and allowed us to relax and enjoy the celebration.

Pero el momento cúspide de todo el día fue cuando antes de cantar el cumpleaños llegaría la señora Yolita en su bicicleta, ella es una compañera de mi trabajo de las mañanas, al cual no había asistido por la suspensión de clases, por lo tanto no pude compartir con esos compañeros, pero aun así ella se apersono con una muy rica torta de auyama, la cual fue de elaboración propia, además me regalo dos lindos globos y un fuerte abrazo, es de esta forma como procedimos a cantar cumpleaños, a compartir y a pasar un rato diferente, en donde la alegría nos unió y nos permitió relajarnos y disfrutar de la celebración.

Around nine o'clock at night I arrived home, as soon as I entered I realized that in the living room there was a big decoration of balloons, letters and colors, this was a surprise made by my family, who waited for me to celebrate together, there I had another cake, they sang me again the birthday and between laughter, anecdotes and memories a very quiet atmosphere was generated, where we just laughed and enjoyed a cool night. There is no better time than the one enjoyed in the company of loved ones, because it is in those moments when we generate much stronger bonds, which fill us with positive energy and encourage us to continue advancing along the relentless path of life.

Sobre las nueve de la noche llegué a mi casa, apenas entre me di cuenta de que en la pared de la sala había un gran adorno de globos, letras y colores, esto se trataba de una sorpresa hecha por mi familia, quienes me esperaron para celebrar juntos, allí me picaron otra torta, me cantaron de nuevo el cumpleaños y entre risas, anécdotas y recuerdos se generó un ambiente muy tranquilo, en donde justos reímos y disfrutamos de una noche fresca. No existe mejor tiempo que el que se disfruta en compañía de aquellos seres queridos, ya que es en esos momentos cuando generamos lazos mucho más fuertes, los cuales nos llenan de energías positivas y nos impulsan a seguir avanzando por el implacable camino de la vida.
