Christmas Surprise / Sorpresa Navideña

We are in the season of the bagpipes, the hallacas, joy and sharing, a time in which the Venezuelan people try to get away from problems and seek to spend a few days of distraction and encounter, therefore, precisely with this Christmas spirit, the Most companies organize meetings and lunches where all the workers, bosses and managers sit at the same table to share and fraternize as colleagues and friends.

Estamos en la temporada de las gaitas, las hallacas, la alegría y el compartir, una época en la que el pueblo venezolano trata de alejarse de los problemas y busca pasar unos días de distracción y encu8entro, por lo tanto justo con este espíritu navideño la mayoría de las empresas organizan reuniones y almuerzos en donde todos los trabajadores, jefes y gerentes se sientan en una misma mesa a compartir y a fraternizar como compañeros y amigos.

On this occasion I had the opportunity to share with great friends and colleagues with whom I had the opportunity to work for a good part of this year in a non-profit foundation, there I managed to meet many people, I was able to help many others, but in In general, I made great friends for whom I feel very grateful.

En esta oportunidad tuve la oportunidad de compartir con grandes amigos y compañeros con los que tuve la oportunidad de trabajar en buena parte de este año en una fundación sin fines de lucro, allí logre conocer a muchas personas, pude ayudar a muchas otras, pero en general coseche grandes amistades de las cuales me siento muy agradecido.

Despite having finished my work period there a few months ago, I was pleasantly surprised to receive an invitation to attend a Christmas lunch, which was to be held at the restaurant of the Nuestra Señora de Coromoto hotel, a place that stands out for its excellent service, great comfort and for being one of the most elegant in the city. Therefore, I did not hesitate to accept the invitation, and I was also very excited to meet my co-workers, of whom I have very fond memories.

A pesar de haber cerrado mi etapa laboral allí hace unos meses me encontré con la grata sorpresa de recibir una invitación para asistir a un almuerzo navideño, el cual se iba a celebrar en el restaurant del hotel Nuestra Señora de Coromoto, un lugar que se destaca por su excelente atención, gran comodidad y por ser uno de los más elegantes de la ciudad. Por lo tanto, no dude en aceptar la invitación, además me encontraba muy emocionado de reencontrarme con mis compañeros de trabajo, de los cuales tengo muy bonitos recuerdos.

The day arrived and I prepared to arrive at the place, as soon as I crossed the front door I was already meeting great friends, with whom I gave myself big hugs and many smiles, when we arrived at the restaurant a large table was waiting for us placed along a end of the room, and there many chairs, most of which were already occupied with many familiar faces. Once located in my place I had the opportunity to talk a lot with everyone around me, there between laughs, stories and anecdotes we caught up with our lives, we joked together and we were having a very pleasant time.

El día llego y me dispuse a llegara al lugar, apenas cruzaba la puerta de entrada ya estaba encontrándome con grandes amigos, con los cuales me di fuertes abrazos y muchas sonrisas, al llegar al restaurant nos esperaba una gran mesa colocada a lo largo de un extremo del recinto, y allí muchas sillas, de las cuales la mayoría estaban ya ocupadas con muchos rostros conocidos. Una vez ubicado en mi lugar tuve la oportunidad de conversar mucho con todos a mi alrededor, allí entre risas, cuentos y anécdotas nos pusimos al día con nuestras vidas, bromeamos juntos y fuimos pasando un rato muy agradable.

Lunch would consist of a Venezuelan Christmas dish (Hallaca, Pan de Jamos, Chicken and Pernil Salad) which was super tasty and I was able to enjoy it to the fullest, the truth was an unforgettable moment, full of fraternity and in the midst of an atmosphere of total joy , where the value of friendship boosted the entire meeting in a very positive way, a couple of hours passed and we were able to have lunch together as a big family. Then, when everything came to an end, we toasted our friendship, work and Christmas, soon it was time to leave and everyone would go home, but without a doubt those cordial ties will remain intact, we will continue in constant communication and I am sure that moments like this will be repeated in the future.

El Almuerzo consistiría en un plato navideño venezolano (Hallaca, Pan de Jamos Ensalada de Pollo y Pernil) el cual estaba súper rico y pude disfrutar al máximo, la verdad fue un momento inolvidable, lleno de fraternidad y en medio de un ambiente de total alegría, en donde el valor de la amistan potencio todo el encuentro de forma muy positiva, pasaron un par de horas y allí logramos almorzar juntos como una gran familia. Luego al llegar todo a su fin brindamos por nuestra amistad, por el trabajo y por la navidad, pronto tocaba partir y cada quien saldría con destino a su casa, pero sin duda alguna que esos lazos de cordialidad seguirán intactos, seguiremos en constante comunicación y estoy seguro de que momentos como este se van a repetir en un futuro.
