Walking through the parks of Caracas is an activity that I enjoy a lot every time I find myself in this city, since they are usually very wide spaces, where the trees, the grass and the greenery of nature are always present regardless of the time of day. year in which we meet, Parque los Caobos is precisely an ideal benchmark of tranquility, beauty and a lot of good energy, it is located in a fairly central place in the city and at the same time serves as a transition point between Plaza Venezuela and Plaza of the Museums, therefore many people tend to use their spaces as a large boulevard to reach their destination faster.

Caminar por los parques de Caracas es una actividad que disfruto mucho cada vez que me encuentro en esta ciudad, ya que suelen ser espacios muy amplios, en donde los árboles, la grama y el verdor de la naturaleza siempre están presentes sin importar la época del año en que nos encontremos, el Parque los Caobos es justamente un referente ideal de tranquilidad, belleza y mucha buena energía, se encuentra en un lugar bastante céntrico de la ciudad y al mismo tiempo sirve como punto de transición entre la Plaza Venezuela y la Plaza de los Museos, por lo tanto muchas personas suelen usar sus espacios como un gran bulevar para llegar más rápido a su destino.

Este parque tiene la cualidad de contar con grandes árboles, los cuales con sus varios metros de altura y grandes ramas sirven de paraguas naturales que intentan protegernos de la lluvia y al mismo tiempo evitan que los rayos del sol llegan al piso con tanta intensidad, pero a pesar de esto en la tarde que estuve por allí una ligera llovizna se colaba entre los espacios de las hojas y poco a poco iba generando grandes charcos en el piso, los cuales con su tranquilidad servían como espejos naturales de gran perfección.

Este parque es bastante amplio, por un lado una gran autopista pasa a ras suelo, por el otro pequeños edificios pertenecientes al mundo de las artes sirven de pared natural, al fondo la Plaza Venezuela y al frente la Plaza de los Museos, por lo tanto esta es una situación que arquitectónica que permite encajonar al parque y permite que la urbanidad propia de la cuidad no interfiera con las bondades naturales que se encuentran en su interior, lo cual brinda un escenario mágico, en donde pareciera que se estuviera en una gran isla alejados de todo, pero existe un edificio que rompe por completo con este patrón, se trata de una de las Torres de Parque Central, quien con sus centenares de metros de altura y fachada azul se eleva como un vigilante silencioso que observa con detenimiento todos los movimientos de la ciudad.

Mientras caminaba por el parque fue justamente la imagen de esta torre la que me paralizo ya que a diferencia de lo que muchos pueden pensar no me encontraba mirando hacia arriba, sino al contrario en un vistazo rasante al piso fue que descubrí esta combinación increíble, en donde los grandes y verdes arboles escondían con sus ramas al azul y gris de la rígida torre que se eleva hasta el cielo, se trata de un magnífico reflejo que se ve perfectamente complementado con la proyección de las personas que sin darse cuenta estaban siendo captadas por el lente de mi cámara.
