In small cities, any unusual event is synonymous with alarm and attention, since any eventuality can be potentially serious for a large number of people, including many acquaintances. For this reason yesterday, while I was in front of my house, I was very impressed by a large column of smoke that rose from behind the mountain, surpassed the antenna and spread with a strange orange color for much of the sky.

En las ciudades pequeñas cualquier acontecimiento fuera de lo normal es sinónimo de alarma y atención, ya que cualquier eventualidad puede resultar potencialmente grave para un gran numero de personas, entre ellas muchos conocidos. Por esta razón el día de ayer mientras me encontraba en el frente de mi casa me causo mucha impresión una gran columna de humo que surgía detrás de la montaña, superaba la antena y se desparramaba con un extraño color naranja por buena parte del cielo.

At first I had a great feeling of fear, because the air was rushing in my direction which pushed all that smoke over our heads, then I remembered that I had not heard any noise or explosion, which calmed me down a bit, but at the same time I could notice that there was a power outage in the entire area and there again I began to think a thousand things, meanwhile many people around me also looked with expectation and astonishment at this strange event, some drew their own guesses, while others kept silence.
