It was a cloudy, rainy and pleasant morning to go out and walk the streets of this city, since the typical heat of those hours was completely absent, the streets were wet, the dew caressed the faces of us passersby on one side to another we walked avoiding puddles and crossing streets, each one with a different destination, some go to their jobs, others to schools or universities while some were doing some other type of errand.

Era una mañana nublada, lluviosa y agradable para salir y recorrer las calles de esta ciudad, ya que el calor típico de esas horas estaba por completo ausente, las calles se encontraban mojadas, el roció acariciaba los rostros de nosotros los transeúntes que de un lado a otro caminábamos sorteando charcos y cruzando calles, cada quien con un destino diferente, algunos van a sus trabajos, otros a las escuelas o universidades mientras que algunos estábamos haciendo algún otro tipo de diligencia.

I went through a good part of the central area of ​​the city, from hardware store to hardware store I crossed avenues and crossed multiple corners finding out prices of the various materials that I need for the work that is being done in my house, fortunately the pleasant atmosphere favored that all my journey It was done in a pleasant and fast way, without the need for the intense sun to overwhelm me so quickly. To avoid the bustle of Calle 2 I decided to go down a couple of blocks and take a quieter road, which would allow me to reach my destination enjoying a good walk and at the same time updating myself with the changes that are always present in these places.

Recorrí buena parte del casco central de la ciudad, de ferretería en ferretería atravesé avenidas y cruce múltiples esquinas averiguando precios de los diversos materiales que me hacen falta para los trabajos que se están realizando en mi casa, afortunadamente el ambiente agradable favoreció que todo mi recorrido se realizara de forma agradable y rápido, sin necesidad de que el intenso sol me agobiara tan rápido. Para evitar el agite de la Calle 2 decidí descender un par de cuadras y tomar una vía mas tranquila, que me permitiera llegar a mi destino disfrutando de un buen paseo y al mismo tiempo actualizándome con los cambios que siempre se hace presente por estos lugares.

Without realizing it, in just a few minutes I had entered the vicinity of Plaza Bolívar, a place that due to its characteristics and dimensions seems like a large park within the city, but which despite its grandeur and solemnity is a welcoming place. , in which he invites you to sit down and enjoy the tranquility that is present there, I really enjoy every time I pass by here and always, no matter how rushed I find myself, I set aside five minutes to walk around it or to sit down for a while and be able to enjoy nature.

Sin darme cuenta en tan solo unos pocos minutos había entrado en la inmediaciones de la Plaza Bolívar, un lugar que por sus características y dimensiones parece un gran parque dentro de la ciudad, pero el cual a pesar de su grandeza y solemnidad es un lugar acogedor, en el cual invita a sentarse y disfrutar de la tranquilidad que allí se hace presente, yo disfruto mucho cada vez que paso por acá y siempre por muy apurado que me encuentre aparto unos cinco minutos para recorrerla o para sentarme un rato y poder disfrutar de la naturaleza.

The Plaza Bolívar is large, but simple, it is in the middle of the city, but it is covered in nature, it is a solemn place, but cozy, it is bordered by streets, but the noise of the cars is not heard, in short, it is a unique place, full of good energy and an ideal space for the meeting and healthy coexistence of the citizens of this city that has very few public spaces of these characteristics.

La Plaza Bolívar es grande, pero sencilla, esta en medio de la ciudad, pero esta cubierta de naturaleza, es un lugar solemne, pero acogedor, esta bordeada por calles, pero no se escucha el ruido de los carros, en resumen, es un lugar único, lleno de buenas energías y un espacio ideal para el encuentro y la sana convivencia de los ciudadanos de esta ciudad que cuenta con muy pocos espacios públicos de estas características.

A few days ago the 50th anniversary of the founding of the García de Hevia Municipality was celebrated and all the central acts of that festivity were held on this square, therefore, to my surprise I found a completely renovated place, in which the bright tones stand out, the recently cut grass and a statue of the Liberator adorned by the colors of our national tricolor. This was an affection that was undoubtedly needed, because this is a space that deserves to be well cared for, since it is an essential part of the daily life of all of us who live in this beautiful city of La Fría.

Hace unos días se celebraron los 50 años de la fundación del Municipio García de Hevia y todos los actos centrales de esa festividad se realizaron sobre esta plaza, por lo tanto, para mi sorpresa encontré un lugar totalmente remozado, en se destacan los tonos brillantes, la grama recién cortada y una estatua del Libertador engalanada por los colores de nuestro tricolor nacional. Este era un cariño que sin duda alguna le hacía falta, porque este es un espacio que merece estar bien cuidado, ya que forma parte esencial de la vida cotidiana de todos los que hacemos vida en esta bella ciudad de la Fría.

Once again I did not miss the opportunity to visit this space and the truth is that I was very satisfied with the walk, the photographs and the experience, because this is without a doubt one of my favorite places since it is not only the symbol of my identity as a citizen of La Fría, but at the same time it keeps many memories of my childhood, it is part of my present and on those benches I have thought about the great future that is to come.

Una vez más no perdí la oportunidad de recorrer este espacio y la verdad quede muy satisfecho con en el paseo, las fotografías y la experiencia vivida, porque este sin duda alguna es uno de mis lugares favoritos ya que no solo es el símbolo de mi identidad como ciudadano de la Fría, sino que al mismo tiempo guarda muchos recuerdos de mi infancia, es parte de mi presente y sobre esas bancas he pensado en el futuro grande que está por venir.
