Hello dear friends, today I come to tell you about a title that I played several months ago and left me wanting more, and I was interested in it because once I did a review about a game similar to this but for cell phones and a fellow community member made the comparison, so I decided to look for it and play it. This game is Metro Last Light Redux, the second part of this trilogy developed by the geniuses of 4A Games, a Ukrainian company based on the novel Metro 2033 by Russian writer Dmitri Glukhovsky.

This survival and (horror as the creators call it) survival videogame is set in a post-apocalyptic scenario in the Moscow subway, where your main objective will be to survive both the mutants and the red faction. In terms of graphics and gameplay you could not ask for more, the only thing I regret about this game is that the campaigns are very short and that the character does not know how to swim, but these details are complemented by the challenge of each game.

Both the characters and the enemies along with the mutants are quite remarkable. Every time you surface, I wished I could find the entrance to the tunnel fast, rather than spend another second on the surface. That psychological terror of knowing that you have to save oxygen because in reality there your life depends on it and go fast so that neither the mutants nor the Reds see you and not belong up there for too long, is the detail that I loved the most about this video game. As for the sound it introduces us to the adventure. The ambient sound is very acceptable, the silences interrupted by screams in the dark, the grunts and footsteps of the mutants, force us to go with caution, weapons with their sound as it should sound a handmade weapon (in the case of these because you can also find modern automatic weapons), all this accompanies very well all the moments of the game.

I have always been attracted to survival games and for me this one hit the nail right on the head, everything you need as you progress through the game either ammunition, weapons, oxygen masks and filters of these, you will have to acquire rummaging through the rubble and among the corpses, or the ammunition you have left over can be exchanged for the ones you use the most in the checkpoint markets, this is another point that I find interesting about the game, the money is not handled as such but the money is the ammunition, with them you can buy everything you need from biological suits to incendiary grenades.

If you like both reading and video games I recommend that after finishing the game you look for this book and start reading it, it will not be a waste of time. After having done this I saw that in the game as in real life the human being is unable to achieve a common goal for a society, not even knowing that he is on the edge of the abyss caused by a nuclear disaster of great magnitude. Not even when he is forced to live underground, completely excluded from fresh air, from sunlight, from everything that we now see we are losing. There, in that deep darkness formed by those endless tunnels, factions continue to exist, that absurd will to eliminate anyone who thinks differently in favor of the interests of a few. Ideological divisions continue, despite the fact that the planet is mortally wounded.
