Family weekend, outdoors / Fin de semana en familia, al aire libre [ENG-ESP]

It took us 30 minutes or more to get there, but it was worth it. I don't know about you but I love to get away from the city from time to time to get some fresh air. As soon as we arrived we received a warm welcome from our second family, among trees with their shadows and fruits, flowers and a warm sun that invited us to walk and distract us while we picked the delicious mangos and avocados that were waiting for us.

Demoramos unos 30 minutos o más para llegar, pero valió la pena. No se ustedes pero a mi me encanta alejarme de vez en cuando de la Ciudad para tomar un poco de aire fresco. Apenas llegamos recibimos una calurosa bienvenida de nuestra segunda familia, entre árboles con sus sombras y frutos, flores y un cálido sol que nos invitaba a caminar y distraernos mientras recogíamos los deliciosos mangos y aguacates que nos esperaban.

I could not resist capturing these flowers adorning the landscape, they say that life offers us every day a reason to smile, how true it is. I think we just need to look around us to understand that miracles exist and that we are surrounded by blessings, we just need to stop, take a deep breath and observe.

I admit that I am caught by its colors and I am transported to my childhood, when I used to spend hours and hours playing with flowers and making wreaths for my cousins while we talked under the shade of a tree.

No pude resistirme a capturar estas flores adornando el paisaje, dicen que la vida nos ofrece cada día un motivo para sonreir, cuán cierto es. Pienso que solo hace falta mirar a nuestro alrededor para entender que los milagros existen y que estamos rodeados de bendiciones, solo hace falta detenernos, respirar profundo y observar.

Admito que me atrapan sus colores y me transportan a mi infancia, cuando solía pasar horas y horas jugando con las flores y haciéndole coronas a mis primas mientras conversábamos bajo la sombra de un árbol.

I was able to capture some animals that were around, a turkey that was walking very gallant with his turkeys, some hens and roosters that were keeping him company, also a family of ducks that I was able to photograph from a distance. There were also some goats but I didn't have time to take some pictures of them, they were busy running here and there and eating the mangoes that fell to the ground.

While I was enjoying a cup of coffee made with love and with the best hands, another pleasure of life, no doubt...

Pude capturar algunos animales que estaban por los alrededores, un pavo que caminaba muy galante con sus pavas, unas gallinas y gallos que le hacían compañía, también una familia de patos a los que pude fotografiar a la distancia. También habían algunas cabras pero no me dió tiempo de tomarles algunas fotos, ellas estaban entretenidas corriendo de aquí para allá y comiendo los mangos que caían al suelo.

Mientras degustaba de una taza de café hecha con mucho amor y con las mejores manos, otro placer de la vida, sin duda...

In the distance I noticed a peculiar plant, it was my first time seeing a cocoa plant, big and leafy. I am sure that with love and perseverance everything can grow. I hope soon to be able to enjoy some of this harvest to delight us all with a cup of hot chocolate.

A lo lejos me percaté de una planta peculiar, era mi primera vez viendo una planta de cacao, grande y frondosa. Estoy segura que con amor y constancia todo puede crecer. Espero pronto poder disfrutar de un poco de esta cosecha para deleitarnos todos con una taza de chocolate caliente.

Grateful for the blessings and for having such a wonderful second family by my side, happy to be able to share the day with them. We left with the cart full of fruits and plants and with a heart full of love.
