My experience with learning.

The one thing that never stops in life they say is learning, as every day goes by we come across certain things we haven't known before now that's the beauty of it, we learn without even paying too much attention yet it sticks inside our head to the point we never forget.

Difficulty in learning varies for different people, there are some reasons behind it as well, some experience this difficulty due to lack of interest in a thing, learning new things is one of my hobbies but still I don't find myself being interested in everything I come across "the truth is somethings are difficult to learn".

Easiest thing I've learned
The easiest thing I've learned would be "crocheting" Yeah!! You guessed wrong well some might get it though so bravo!! To those that got it right. The big question is how did I learn it? I have a friend who loves crocheting, anytime I visit her, she's always busy doing her thing, I would be like you have strength and patience for this thing, in the process of saying that my eye was busy as well doing the unknown which is learning "sometimes we learn without being conscious of it", anytime I see the result of her crocheting journey I'd just be thrilled cause I didn't believe ordinary yarn could produce such a beautiful result.

One day we were having a conversation then she was like "You know you could do it right" and I replied confusedly "Do what?" Then she said crocheting l smiled and replied "You must be joking" The look on her face was saying "I'm serious" even without saying the words, then she went inside and brought some leftover yarns and hooks and put them in my hands, very funny way to learn right? I thought the same thing, she taught me the different patterns involved in crocheting, so that was how I started my crochet journey, it took me less than a month to master the whole process so right now, I'm not a pro yet but I'm good at it.

So far difficult thing I've learned
Something that seemed difficult to learn was "sage" You'd be wondering what it is, it's an accounting software that is used online in the cloud, it is used to manage the day-to-day accounting transactions for an organization to enable the business owner to keep track of taxes, it can perform other functions like the managing of invoices, the cash flow, tracking of expenses and many more.

In the early part of February, I told my friend who was into the sage stuff that I'd love for him to teach me, and he agreed to it, before then I'd already bought my laptop so I was very much ready for it. When we started he sent me a manual containing the theoretical aspects of it, I read everything then it was time to put into practice the things I've read. On the other hand, I was pretty much ready for the practical when we started, the first day everything seemed easy I wish I'd known there was more to it, the second day he brought up areas I didn't know existed, as a girl that doesn't give up easily, I didn't complain than a month later I realized it wasn't as easy as I've thought. I've been into it for a month and two weeks and it feels like I haven't known anything about it yet but the good news is that I still pushing.

I'm still in the process of learning the "sage" I don't give up on things thats gonna benefit me in my career, they say no knowledge is a waste, the fact that technology keeps growing and inventing new things every day, I don't wanna be left out in things related to my course of study cause I know someday an organization will need my attention to render services using the accounting software and I wouldn't want to appear like a dummy I wanna appear like a pro.

What these experiences taught me about myself, the first one came unexpectedly but showed I'm a fast learner but the second one is something related to my career that is of great benefit to me and I'm yet to master everything, deep down inside of me I believe it's something that will make me outstanding in a place, I'm still in the process of mastering everything, despite being at the stage of learning I've realized I don't give up on a thing no matter how difficult it may seem.

Thanks for reading🌹

While some things come easily to us, other things prove difficult to learn. But as they say, practice makes perfect and with time if you're consistent, you'll definitely master that difficult software.

Did you just say crocheting was easy for you to learn? I spent months practicing crochet when I was in school but after about 4 months I still couldn't make a rope not to talk of bags or cloths.

Crocheting was easy for me to learn, I mean you just have to know the basic patterns and that's all but then YouTube is your friend so you can always learn.

I think you should try it again, maybe this time you can make more than a rope😁.

I grew up with most of my family member’s crocheting so I learnt that at a very tender age. It’s funny I don’t even crochet anymore.

This is my first time hearing about sage. I thought it was someone’s name because I have a friend with that name.😂

Anyways, nothing is too difficult if you put your mind to it. You’re a smart lady and I know you’ll be a pro soon.

Cool, you'd like though, just be ready for the practical aspect of it, it's kinda difficult

Having interest in whatever you want to learn makes it a little easier to learn.

Another reason why you were able to learn crocheting fast was because your friend is really good at it and she influenced you into liking it. Great teachers makes learning faster too.

You can still become a pro on Sage, just stay consistent.
