Wall painting [ESP-ENG]

On this occasion I wanted to share with you the process of a mural that I made a couple of days ago. I had already done some murals before, but they are very few actually, and the first ones were done in different parts of my house, where they gave me total freedom to fill some blank walls.

En esta ocación queria compartiles el proceso de un mural que realice hace un par de días. Anteriormente ya habia hecho algunos murales, pero son muy pocos en realidad, y los primeros fueron hechos en distintas partes de mi casa, donde me dieron total libertad de llenar algunas paredes en blanco.

This job was a position for a new place that was about to open, where it will be a video game and food place, so the idea that the people in charge had was to give prominence to the world of video games.

Este trabajo fue un cargo para un nuevo local que estaba proximante en abrir, donde será un local de videojuegos y comida, asi que la idea que tenian las personas encargadas, era dar protagonismo al mundo de los videojuegos.

After several proposals, a design based on the classic video game The Legend of Zelda was decided. I started with a pencil sketch on the wall, to position and fit the characters correctly, even though the design would not cover the entire wall.

Después de varias propuestas, se decidió un diseño basado en el clasico vídeojuego The legend of Zelda. Comencé con un boceto a lápiz en la pared, para posicionar y encajar correctamente los personajes, a pesar de que el diseño no abarcaría toda la pared.

Completing the pencil drawing took me a little over a day, on day 2 I moved on to painting. Using only black, white and gray. The size of the wall was approximately 4x5 m.

In total it took me 3 days to finish the mural and I think the result was quite good. Honestly, I was a little nervous because it was my first commission and I wanted to do it as well as possible, and that the owners liked it and were satisfied with the design.

En total me tomó 3 días en finalizar el mural y creo que el resultado estuvo bastante bien. Honestamente me sentía algo nerviosa porque era mi primer encargo y quería hacerlo lo mejor posible, y que a los dueños les gustara y estuvieran satisfechos con el diseño.

And finally, I hope to continue in the future with this type of work, such as murals, although the process can be a bit exhausting or tedious, it is rewarding and great to make large-format designs or paintings.

Y para finalizar, espero seguir en el futuro con este tipo trabajos, como son los murales, aunque puede ser un poco agotador o tedioso el proceso, es gratificante y genial hacer diseños o pinturas de grandes formatos.
