drawing a still life
Good afternoon friends, drawing for you.
Today drawing a still life with a breakfast, where I draw a jug, cup and bread to eat. I drew this sketch with charcoal pencils, starting with the 5H pencil to make fine lines and thus be able to erase and not leave the mark if necessary.
Looking for the symmetry between the elements, and applying shadow and clarity to give volume to the drawing.
At the base I drew the shadow of each element on the side where the light does not reach and the light side where the light is reflected more.
In the background apply blurred charcoal from the darkest side to the lightest.
