Hello dear #DIYHub community. Recycling is one of the most beautiful practices we can do, I particularly love working on it. On many occasions, we have objects or pieces that we no longer use and we choose to throw them away without imagining that we can give them a new life. For this reason, today I want to show you a very simple step-by-step to make: Heart keychain made with jeans from a pair of pants that are no longer in use, decorated with some apple appliques. This keychain will be a gift that I will give to my niece Fernanda to put in her school bag. Let's get started!

Hola querida comunidad de #DIYHub. Reciclar es una de las prácticas más hermosas que podemos hacer, particularmente me encanta trabajar en ella. En muchas ocasiones, tenemos objetos o piezas que ya no usamos y optamos por botarlos sin imaginar que podemos darle una nueva vida a los mismos. Por tal motivo, hoy quiero mostrarles un paso a paso muy sencillo de realizar: Llavero de corazón hecho con tela de jeans de un pantalón ya en desuso, adornado con unos apliques de manzana. Este llavero será un regalo que le daré a mi sobrina Fernanda para que coloque en su bolso del colegio. ¡Vamos a comenzar!

Materials:
• Denim fabric
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Red ribbon
• Glue
• Lace ribbon
• Pen
• Heart-shaped cutter
• Steel key ring
• Polyester fiber fill

Materiales:

Step 1
Place the heart-shaped cutter on the jean fabric. Then mark 2 of these with your pen and then cut them out.

Step 2
Take the lace ribbon, place it on top of the fabric, right in the center of one of the hearts, leaving 1/2cm on each side, then cut the ribbon. Next, paste it as shown in the image.

Paso 2
Toma la cinta de encaje colócala en la parte superior de la tela, justo en el centro de uno de los corazones dejando 1/2cm de cada lado luego, corta la cinta. Seguidamente, pega la misma como se muestra en la imagen.

Step 3
Take the red ribbon and measure 12cm and then cut it out. Put glue on their tips and glue them to the bottom of one of the hearts, as shown in the image. Now, glue the edge of the heart and place the other heart on top of it. Leave a small space and introduce the filling through it. Once you have placed the filling, glue the edge completely to close the heart.

Paso 3
Toma la cinta de color rojo y mide 12cm y, luego recórtala. Coloca pega en sus puntas y pégalas en la parte inferior de uno de los corazones, como se muestra en la imagen. Ahora, coloca pega en el borde del corazón y coloca encima de este el otro corazón. Deja un pequeño espacio e introduce por el mismo el relleno. Una vez hayas colocado el relleno, pega el borde completamente para cerrar el corazón.

Step 4
To decorate the heart, glue the apple appliques. Finally, insert the tape into the steel key ring.

Para decorar el corazón pega los apliques de manzana. Por último, introduce la cinta en el aro de acero.
