working from home is not the right choice, just to avoid a problem

Hello

Welcome to my blog, a day full of grace for all of us, may we always be protected, amen.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak, I learned about the term "working from home." Previously, I had never thought about it. At a time when the world was in a state of chaos, all public service offices, schools, and crowded places were temporarily closed.

Given that the world must continue to turn, the economy must continue, and education must continue, the government issued an order to conduct teaching and learning via mobile devices, also known as online. This allows students and teachers to conduct learning and teaching online without the need for face-to-face contact.

Furthermore, offices continued to operate from home to prevent crowds and curb the COVID-19 outbreak. Only one public service remained operational and open 24 hours a day at that time: hospitals. They continued to operate as usual, despite the fear and the deadly virus posing a real threat to medical personnel.

Working from home was welcomed by employees and other workers. They were very happy because they could continue working from home. At that time, working from home was the best solution for employees and workers, but it became a nightmare for business people in the markets. And others had to close their businesses, and many went bankrupt at that time. The resulting economic downturn continued, until the COVID-19 virus finally disappeared as if swallowed by the earth.

Working from home wasn't the right choice, but because the conditions at the time were concerning, it was permitted. After the virus outbreak subsided, people returned to their respective workplaces as usual. Boredom is inevitable, especially when you're alone at home and have to work from home. A day or two can still feel comfortable, but after weeks, you'll definitely get bored and want to go back to work as usual, where you can meet friends and share stories.

However, I personally found a different kind of luck. I decided to quit smoking. While undergoing smoking cessation therapy, that was the hardest part for me, as I had to avoid my friends who were active smokers. It was a real blow. It wasn't easy to isolate myself from long-standing friendships. However, a short time later, the government issued a call to work from home and avoid crowds to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. There was no need to leave the house unless absolutely necessary.

I took this opportunity to stay home and avoid gatherings with friends, thus avoiding exposure to their cigarette smoke. The first few years of quitting smoking are very vulnerable, and we can return to smoking if we continue to inhale the smoke of others.

The result of my hard work at that time was that I could still do my job, and most importantly, I had truly quit smoking. When I returned to work, I felt very light and healthy, perhaps because the toxins contained in cigarettes had completely disappeared from my body. Although I have now returned to work as usual, I still maintain a safe distance from those who smoke. The smell of cigarette smoke can make me dizzy and my body no longer tolerates it.

Those are the benefits I discovered when working from home. That concludes my post today. Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you find it helpful. Enjoy it
