Ayer no pude terminar a tiempo mi post para el #Needleworkmonday pero hoy sí les quiero mostrar lo que hice, estos días he tratado de coser lo más que pueda pues pronto me voy de viaje y dudo que me pueda llevar la máquina 😂 uno siempre quiere llevar su máquina a todos lados, por esta razón me encantaría aprender a tejer 🧶 para aprovechar cualquier momento (eso creo), pero bueno hoy les quiero mostrar un lindo crop top que confeccioné con retazos de tela que me quedaron del proyecto pasado en tela de micro rib, así que acompáñame a confeccionar está prenda.

Yesterday I couldn't finish on time my post for the #Needleworkmonday but today I want to show you what I did, these days I've been trying to sew as much as I can because soon I'm going on a trip and I doubt I can take my machine with me 😂 one always wants to take his machine everywhere, for this reason I would love to learn to knit 🧶 to take advantage of any moment (I think so), but well today I want to show you a nice crop top that I made with scraps of fabric that I had left from the last project in micro rib fabric, so join me to make this garment.

Para este proyecto utilicé tela micro rib, estos son retazos pero con medio metro será suficiente, también usé hilo a tono, tijera, alfileres, cinta métrica y mi máquina de coser.

For this project I used micro rib fabric, these are scraps but half a meter will be enough, I also used matching thread, scissors, pins, tape measure and my sewing machine.

Para sacar las piezas del top usé una camisa que me queda ajustada, corté las piezas delantera y trasera y también un par de mangas cortas, está tela es bastante stretch así que no dejé margen de costura, debemos tener en cuenta la dirección de las líneas o canales para cortar la tela correctamente, también corte una tira de 4cm para el bies del cuello y una tira de 7cm para el contorno de la cintura, esté es opcional yo lo usé para darle un poco más de centímetros de largo a el top.

To make the pieces of the top I used a shirt that fits me tight, I cut the front and back pieces and also a couple of short sleeves, this fabric is quite stretchy so I did not leave seam allowance, we must take into account the direction of the lines or channels to cut the fabric correctly, also cut a strip of 4cm for the bias of the neck and a strip of 7cm for the contour of the waist, this is optional I used it to give a little more centimeters long to the top.

Comencé a coser y primero uní los hombros, enfrente los derechos de las piezas y pasé costura recta y luego zigzag.

I started sewing and first joined the shoulders, facing the right sides of the pieces and sewed a straight seam and then a zigzag seam.

Cosí el bies al cuello y luego hice una costura decorativa que no quedó muy bien por qué como ya les dije está tela es muy stretch pero lo dejé así por qué lo podía dañar, luego cuando me lo medí se veía mejor.

I sewed the bias binding to the neck and then made a decorative seam that did not look very good because as I told you this fabric is very stretchy but I left it like that because it could damage it, then when I measured it it looked better.

Después de que terminé el cuello, cosí las mangas a la sisas del top y después cerré los costados, para las orillas de las mangas hice un faralao usando la puntada para hacer ojales, para terminar cosí la tira de 7 cm doblada a todo el contorno del top, y ya tendríamos listo el top hecho con tela acanalada, déjenme saber en los comentarios que les pareció este proyecto.
