[Book] The Cow Is to Blame/Only Time Will Tell #Venezuela

In the book The Cow's Fault, I'm reading one of the stories, and I think it's the most moving and very relevant—or at least I relate it to what's happening in my country, #Venezuela. Today, many Venezuelans have no tomorrow; others had many plans, and those plans vanished; many lost loved ones without the chance to say goodbye.

This story I'm about to share is more than just a story; it's a reflection on life:

Only with Time

With time, you realize that if you're with someone just to fill your loneliness, you'll inevitably end up wishing you never saw them again.

With time, you realize that true friends are worth far more than any amount of money.

With time, you understand that true friends are few and far between, and that those who don't fight for them will sooner or later find themselves surrounded by false friendships.

With time, you learn that anyone can apologize, while forgiveness is only for great souls.

With time, you learn to build all your paths in the present, because tomorrow's terrain is too uncertain to make plans.

With time, even if you're happy with those who are by your side, you terribly miss those who have left.

With time, you learn that trying to forgive or asking for forgiveness, saying that Love, longing, need—none of it makes sense before a grave.

The following phrase resonates with me:

Over time, you learn to build all your paths in the present, because tomorrow's terrain is too uncertain to make plans.

This tragedy teaches us to live in the now, to embrace today, to say "I love you" today, and to live in the present without that meaning we don't think about the future.

In my country, we are living through one of the most difficult times we have ever faced. Today, many colleagues, friends, and family members are going through a devastating situation. Today, solidarity is shown through actions. Today, many are still struggling beneath the rubble.

This reading teaches me that we shouldn't put off until tomorrow saying "I love you," giving a hug, sharing a coffee, or getting together again. Let's learn today that the most important thing is family and our loved ones.

En el libro La Culpa es de la vaca estoy leyendo una de sus historias y creo que es la historia más conmovedora y que tiene mucho que ver o por lo menos yo, lo relaciono con lo que está sucediendo en mis país #venezuela. Hoy muchos venezolanos, ya no tienen mañana, otros tenían muchos planes y esos planes se esfumaron, muchos perdieron seres queridos sin la oportunidad de decirles adiós.
Esta historia que les presento, más que una historia es una reflexión de vida:

Solo con el tiempo

Con el tiempo, te das cuenta de que si estás al lado de una persona sólo para acompañar tu soledad, irremediablemente acabarás deseando no volver a verla.

Con el tiempo, te das cuenta de que los amigos verdaderos valen mucho más que cualquier cantidad de dinero.

Con el tiempo, entiendes que los verdaderos amigos son contados, y que el que no lucha por ellos tarde o temprano se ve rodeado de falsas amistades.

Con el tiempo, aprendes que disculpar cualquiera lo hace, mientras que perdonar es sólo de almas grandes.

Con el tiempo, aprendes a construir todos tus caminos en el hoy, porque el terreno de mañana es demasiado incierto para hacer planes.

Con el tiempo, aunque seas feliz con los que están a tu lado, añoras terriblemente a los que se han marchado.

Con el tiempo, aprendes que intentar perdonar o pedir perdón, decir que amas, que extrañas, que necesitas, ya no tiene ningún sentido ante una tumba.

La siguiente frase retumba ante mí por su peso:

Con el tiempo, aprendes a construir todos tus caminos en el hoy, porque el terreno de mañana es demasiado incierto para hacer planes.

Esta tragedia nos enseña, que vivamos el ahora, que abracemos hoy, que digamos hoy te amo y que vivamos el presente sin que eso signifique que no pensemos en el futuro.

En mi país estamos viviendo uno de los momento más difíciles que nos ha tocado, hoy muchos compañeros, amigos, familiares atraviesan una situación devastadora, hoy la solidaridad se demuestra con hechos, hoy muchos aún lucha debajo de los escombros.

Esta lectura me enseña, que no dejemos para mañana, un te quiero, un abrazo, un café un reencuentro. Aprendamos hoy que lo más importante es la familia y nuestros seres queridos.
