Educar por televisión - Los retos de la educación en Venezuela - caso DirectTv - ESP/ENG - Segunda parte por @yusmi

Continuando con este tema tan polémico que significa educar a través de la televisión en Venezuela hicimos un resumen en el post anterior sobre le evolución del servicio de tv en el pais explicando las dificultades que tiene que afrontar los ciudadanos para la recepción de la señal dada la orografía del territorio nacional.

Continuing with this controversial issue that means to educate through television in Venezuela we made a summary in the previous post about the evolution of the TV service in the country explaining the difficulties that citizens have to face for the reception of the signal given the orography of the national territory.

Hasta finales del siglo pasado todos teníamos que comprar una antena de aluminio y colocarla sobre un poste metálico sobre el techo de nuestros hogares para que la señal de los canales nacionales pudieran verse con claridad que hasta finales de los años 90 eran aproximadamente seis entre los más importantes estaba Televen, Venevisión y Radio Caracas Televisión ( RCTV ).

Posteriormente llegaron las empresas de televisión por cable y señal satelital revolucionando las telecomunicaciones en el país y dándole a toda la población una gama de canales de entretenimiento e información superior a los treinta ( canales 9 por paquete que ofrecían estas compañías, las más importantes en la zonas de central como el Estado Aragua eran Inter-cable y Directv. Luego las empresas telefónicas Movistar y cantv también se unieron a este mercado de televisión y sacaron sus propios productos.

Until the end of the last century, we all had to buy an aluminum antenna and place it on a metal pole on the roof of our homes so that the signal of the national channels could be clearly seen. Until the end of the 1990s, there were approximately six of them, among which were Televen, Venevisión and Radio Caracas Televisión ( RCTV ).

Later, cable and satellite television companies arrived, revolutionizing telecommunications in the country and giving the entire population a range of entertainment and information channels that exceeded thirty (channels 9 per package offered by these companies, the most important in central areas such as Aragua State were Inter-cable and Directv. Later, the telephone companies Movistar and Cantv also joined this television market and launched their own products.

El poder adquisitivo de los venezolanos hasta mediados la segunda década de este siglo era muy bueno llegando la mayoría a adquirir estos servicios que en otros países son de alto costo acá se podía observar hasta en las comunidades más marginales casas con las antenas satelitales de esta empresas de tv por cable como se les conoció en un primer momento. De tal manera que la gran mayoría poseía el servicio junto a Internet en muchos casos.

The purchasing power of Venezuelans until the middle of the second decade of this century was very good, most of them acquiring these services that in other countries are of high cost. In such a way that the great majority possessed the service next to Internet in many cases.

Ahora recientemente el gobierno anuncio la suspensión del servicio de la empresa Directv que tenía según sus datos a nueve millones de suscriptores en toda Venezuela dejando ahora desinformados y sin entretenimiento a millones de jóvenes, niños y adolescentes que necesitaban de esta herramienta para poder cumplir con las asignaciones emanadas por el propio Estado a través de su programa "Cada familia una escuela" transmitida por el canal Vivetv del gobierno. ¿qué irá a pasar ahora ?... te lo cuento en el próximo post, gracias por leer a la maestra Yusmi.
