Are you promoting hive blockchain?
Remember hive is a decentralized blockchain, hive don't have any marketing manager or team who runs promotion compains, we are all responsible to promote hive blockchain at individual level
We also nead some leaders from hive community who take responsibility of promoting hive as a 9 to 5 job, Currently we are looking at each other and Assuming it will happened Automatically
There are so many ways to promote hive blockchain, number one is growing organic followers on all top social media platforms especially Twitter but unfortunately the account represents hive blockchain on Twitter have only 36k followers from last two years

I don't know who is managing @hiveblocks hive blockchain account on Twitter, there are so many Twitter accounts have nothing to share or promote still they have thousands of followers like 100k, 200k and 500k and we have one of the revolutionary blockchain to promote or introduce to others but still able to got 36k followers in Almost three years
We should take a look at over current strategy to promote hive blockchain on Twitter, remember anyone can create Twitter account about hive and starts promoting hive on Twitter, we as a hive community didn't depend on anyone to do that
Another thing is we should consider paid promotions also, like Twitter posts promoting, Google ads, Facebook ads etc, the biggest problem with a decentralized or community owned blockchain everything someone from others will do it
My dear friends we can't do anything without proper planning and leadership, so now is the time to come forward and lead the Hive blockchain community from the front end

I try in my small way (even if I noticed that it doesn't let me publish on twitter anymore), as well as on social networks I'm trying to bring many friends, in my opinion word of mouth is also very useful! Nice post, thanks for sharing!
Promote the apps not Hive.
This is more effective and talks to what people are interested in.

Sr. Its like a chicken and egg situation
Some thinks promoting a dapp is better strategy, other's think promoting a underlying blockchain is good idea
I think we need developers, investor also for hive blockchain not only users, another thing is sometimes an app or dapp not worth promoting, can you tell me which hive blockchain based app or Frontend is worth promoting
For example @leofinance they not even improved there UI interface little bit which is still under beta testing
Another is @ecency they don't promoting there app by themselves out of Hive community
I love both @leofinance and @ecency but unfortunately there is not a single dapp out there which deserves promotion, @splinterlands is number one but it's support more then one blockchains so sometimes @splinterlands users not even able to know about hive
That's why I think promoting hive blockchain the core technology behind everything is good idea to attract new users, developers and investors
Remember it's just a difference of opinion may be I am totally wrong, please don't mind I really respect your thoughts

Promote what you use and like, we do some promotion and marketing efforts but yes majority of our resources are focused on development because there are so many things that needs improving.

I am using @ecency from steem days, I mean before it's rebrands to ecency, I remember it's name is a esteem
I love using it its my number one choice among all hive blockchain fornt ends or dapps, I also agreed with you there are to many things needs improvement or your team is busy to improve or develop these things
But you should try their best to promote your app outside of Hive blockchain community and offchain, check @ecency official Twitter account @ecency_official do you think your team is doing their best to promote @ecency app on Twitter
That's what I mean marketing is also important along with development, when someone see you are posting once a week or month on Twitter he feels you are interested to promote hive to other cryptocurrencies communities
Please don't mind I am just sharing my thoughts it's your app and can do whith it whatever you want to do
All feedbacks are valuable, yes our other social media exposure could be improved for sure.
I have. But not even one came on board because its just too difficult and people are generally lazy
