40k - Faction Pack - Space Marines - Detachment 17 - Reclamation Force

Source

Hello everyone zak40k here again with another Detachment review for Space Marines.

I have already done the following Detachments: Gladius Task Force, Anvil Siege Force, Firestorm Assault Force, Stormlance Task Force, Vanguard Spearhead, Ironstorm Spearhead, 1st Company Task Force, Blade of Ultramar, Emperor's Shield, Spearpoint Task Force, Forgefather's Seekers, Shadowmark Talon, Librarius Conclave, Bastion Task Force, Ceramite Sentinels, Hammer of Avernii

As explained in the post The Future of Warhammer 40k Datasheet Reviews on Hive - Faction Pack orientated we are now going to be doing reviews based on the new Faction Packs.

That leaves the following: Reclamation Force, Orbital Assault Force, Headhunter Task Force, Armoured Speartip, Fulguris Task Force, Subversion Assets.

Let's do Reclamation Force!

This post is based on Faction Pack Space Marines that have more Detachments than Codex Space Marines and it replaces everything that happened prior. There are small changes and these changes are based on what can be found online at www.warhammer-community.com.

Note that this Detachment makes use of the Space Marine Army Rule, Oath of Moment.

This is an Ultramarines only Detachment as part of the series where Bobby G commanded Capitan T to go reclaim the 500 worlds of Gargamel... Ultramar... You know what I mean.

Reclamation Force - 2DP - Take and Hold

Detachment Rule - Oath of Reclamation

Each time an Adpetus Astares model from your makes a melee attack vs a unit in range of an Objective marker, improve AP by 1.
Each time an Adeptus Astartes unit that is on an Objective takes an attack, if the S is higher than their T, the attack is at -1 to Wound.

Restriction

You may only include Ultramarines units in your army and no units from other Chapters.

Review So... almost Wrath of the Rock but better if you are always on an objective... and you play Take and Hold so.... that is what you want to do.

Enhancements

Most Detachments have 4 Enhancements. These can only be given to Characters that qualify and never to Epic Heroes. You may only select up to three Enhancements to field at the same time. The Points indicated nect to these Enhancements are stated as they are at the time of writing this article. They may change in the latest Minutorum Field Manual.

Seals of Reconquest - 125pts

Adeptus Astartes model only. Models in the bearer's unit has a 5+ invul save.

Review So not something you get a Terminator Character...

Avenging Avatar (Aura) - 10pts

Adeptus Astartes model only. During the opponents's Battle-shock step, if a unit is within 9"of the bearer and is below starting strength, that unit must take a Battle-shock test.

Review This is seriously awesome for a mere 10pts!

Scroll of Proclamation - 15pts

Adeptus Astartes model only.

When this unit declares a charge, if an enemy is within 12"and an objective, you can re-roll your charge roll, but you must then charge a unit on an objective.

Liberatum - 25pts

Adeptus Astartes model only. Each time the bearer makes an attack that targets an enemy unit within range of an objective market, re-roll the Hit roll and the Wound Roll

Review And this seems to be too expensive for what it does... Bearer only...

Again, I would like to try this out. Pity can only be used by Ultramarines... But I will learn to deal with that.
