HOBBY DAY - Kids played in a tournament while I painted zombies! And other stuff

This is what a Saterday looks like at Sword and Board Hobby store! Myself, Aime and Meren went through to the store.

I went to meet with Ren and Justin to do some painting while the kids took to the field playing in a Pokemon Tournament!

Here we see Ren busily painting his Gloomspire Gits - basically goblins and Squigs. Justin was painting his Orruk Warboss.

I was carrying on with the painting of my zombies! Though I might need to shelf these for a bit and focus on Warhammer 40,000 model and paint work to get ready for the King of the Cape Tournament!

The store was busy! Upstairs where I painted, there was a Pokemon card game tournament. There were also two gents playing an epic-scale Napoleonic Battle between the French and the British! The downstairs action was captured below!

But first!

Both @aimeludick and @merenludick entered the tournament and in their first match they drew one another to face off in round 1 of the tournament! 🤣🤣🤣

Meren finished 1st place in the Senior kids division!
Aime finished 2nd in the same division!
Both had practically 2 wins and 2 losses, but one of Aime's wins was a bye round.

What was hilarious is that they played Junior kids and Adults... but they were the only Seniors that played! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Downstairs Ren and Justin took to the field with their Age of Sigmar armies.

There was also a Marvel Crisis tournament going on!

There was also plenty people playing Warhammer 40,000!

Here Aime is playing against a man named Steve.

Here Meren is facing off against @kahunakoala. He has started a Hive account to claim his name but is not active just yet!

Here is Meren playing against Shivaan I believe.

All in all it was a great day for everyone to have some fun at the hobby store. There is so much a person can do at this kind of store and all the while there is some face to face human interaction which is missing when all you do is play games online.

It was a great Saturday!

Thank you for reading!
