Welcome to my weekly record of the Hive progress of my family, my students that I have onboarded to Hive, and other friends on Hive!

1st up is myseld at +78HP, it was a pretty slow week for me THIS week due to falling ill, which means next week's stats are going to be low for me. It will be up to the others to push onwards! I also passed the 1300HP milestone in HP!
2nd place is @clairemobey with a +26HP. She also passed the 450HP milestone and is on her way to 500HP. Soon, she will be our next Minnow!
3rd is @jasperdick with a +26HP. Not his usual position but I think he was on the road with work that week or something. BUT, he did still have posts up and he still move forward at a 1/4 of 100HP. For those starting, you will notice it takes a while to make your first 100HP, the first 100 is the "hardest" but not that hard and it certainly does, on average, speed up after that.
Jasper also passed the 1200HP milestone, well done!
4th is @aimeludick! +16HP (almost +17HP). Finally some action from my teenage daughter! 😁 This was due to @jasperdick adding everyone in as beneficiaries that took part on a song post of his AND doing two posts of her own. Well done! Stay active!
Aime also passed the 20HP milestone and nearly the 30HP mark as well. Onwards to your first 100HP Aime!
4th up and close on her heels is @pixelhuntersam with a +15HP. She ALSO hit a milestone of 250HP and goes onwards to 275HP next.

The total HP of the Mobey-Ludick Household in HP is 1890,917HP, last week was 1764,425HP so a gain of +126,492HP. Amazing!
The total HP of the 11/22 students (over 1HP) of 2022 is: 2560,193HP, 2459,19HP last week for a bump of +101,003HP!
Nearly at 4000HP together!
The average for the 11 students is now, 232,744HP. Up again but still have the 4 Students above the line, 7 Students below that line. Soon, as our newbies get over 1HP each, this number will drop again for a while and then build up.
In terms of Financial implication for South Africans, this week this little community earned around R2 900 in crypto just this week. This is actually a "slow" week for us. This is also only at current exchange prices, which means this amount could be way more once we are out of Bear Market.
For perspective for our international readers, R20 per hour is minimum wage, which translates to around R3500 per month. Which, in my opinion, is too little by far anyway.

I've done the delegations - for those who are new (or just don't know), delegations are a way I can give back to the community; when I delegate my Hive Power to you, it temporarily increases your Hive Power. The best way to make the most of it is to gain curation rewards by upvoting posts - when you upvote a post, both you and the person you upvote get a small reward. But only upvote comments if you're vote power is over 2 or 3 cents, as there's a minimum threshold of earnings on a post for a payout. You should aim to keep your vote power between 80% and 100%. Under 80% isn't the end of the world but means your votes will be lower value, and if it sits at 100% once it tops up (vote power recovers with time) then you're wasting potential earnings.
Hopefully that all makes sense !
Another tip I found out about this week (yep, I'm still learning !) is that if you click the blue star on someone you've followed, it adds them to your favourites (or takes them off if you click a second time). Then, when they post it will appear in your notifications. Don't do it to everyone you follow, but do it to a few real faves (ideally in this community !), and that way you can upvote their posts - I try to balance the number of favourites I have with the vote power I've got 😀

Once you've been around enough, look at the Guide explaining the Introduction post. Also, the post about tags.
I used examples of some great introductions done by our community members. Have a look and then we need to just make sure that whatever you post is using the correct tags.
I am even willing to run you through the interface on ecency when you make a post if you need any help.
But it is a lot more user friendly than the platform of 3 years ago.
