Saturday morning work and thoughts

Good morning everybody Zack from Cape Town South Africa.

I'm busy driving to work And I am using the Text-to-speech application on my phone with the s the app I find that the using interface has gotten a lot better and it actually enables me to do this before it was a little bit difficult but now I'm able to put in some full stops and go to the next line if I want to.

This morning is a pause for some deep interspection, Although it is not something that I have just thought about it is actually something that has been brewing in the back of my mind for a while.

The amount of work that I'm doing has been unhealthy and although I occupy a senior role in the company that I work for my renumeration is too low. I have no idea how other people are able to pay all their bills on the income income that they have but it is becoming increasingly difficult to do so.

The cost of food has gone up quite rapidly and this is usually due to the increase of fuel prices. We now need to pay for our water and electricity on a prepaid meter which also comes with a levy charge which means that I actually pay an extra 20% on top of the cost of the services.

Initially it seemed that our rental agent would not put my rent up this year due to this water and electricity cost that would be added to my cost of living, But they have since given me a message oni 2 months later that they shall be putting my rent up.

I am already sitting in a situation where my regular pay does not cover all of my expenses and it is not possible for me to earn more by working more and hive is actually something that helps to plug some of the gaps but not all of them.

It will not be possible for me to get a cheaper rental even at the new price it will still be a cheaper rental than some of the other Options available in the area.

It seems as though the only thing that I can do to resolve this problem is to go to my employer and speak to them about the cost of living and what my income will be since I'm taking on more and more of a responsibility in the company and that I am one of the few people in the company that is actively trying to ensure that we make a good profit on our work.
