For this week's Sharing Your Battle event we have one of the rules that I like the most to play Equal Opportunity, I am very lucky with this rule, and it appears a lot in my matches, so it was very easy to find a cool match to post here today, let's go to the post!

RuleDescription
EQUAL OPPORTUNITYAll monsters have the Opportunity ability.

Equal Opportunist is an interesting rule, because you practically already know what your opponent's initial target will be in the match, knowing that a huge range of strategies can be made, I usually like to put cards with low HP to be a decoy, leaving my main cards very calm to attack their targets without worrying about the opponent's damage, 0 mana cost cards can be incredible in matches with this rule.

My main play revolves around Jared Scar, it has perfect skills for this match like Piercing and Bloodlust adding to its monstrous damage can kill most of the opposing units with just 1 hit, the other cards are just decoys and supports for this war tank.

Below I will list my favorite skills and the ones I don't like to use with the Equal Opportunity rule.

A match with 31 mana and the rules Equal Opportunity/Taking Sides/Born Again, with the rule of the event I knew I could put without problems cards with melee damage and also knew what would be the first cards that my opponent would attack, unfortunately the rule Taking Sides did not allow me to use any card with matyr since the main was neutral, Born again would help my decoys while my Hippopotamus got stronger and stronger.

Chaos Knight_lv6.pngTank : Good damage and resistant, will be one of the last units to be attacked, but will gain a good time for Jared Scar.
Jared Scar_lv3.pngOff-Tank/DPS: One of the best cards for this rule, equipped with excellent skills such as BloodLust, Piercing and Truestrike (Good for the beginning of the game, as it has low initial speed), Each unit it kills will increase +1 in all attributes, should become giant at the end of the game..
Stitch Leech_lv6.pngDPS: I don't know if it was the best choice, but it has less HP than Jared and good damage considering its low mana cost.
Light Elemental_lv4.pngSuport/DPS : I like this card, it's cheap and has good magic damage, plus it reduces the ranged damage of all opposing units.
Celestial Harpy_lv5.pngDPS: Another cheap unit with a good damage, 2 mana with 2 damage is already great even if its main ability opportunity is not very useful here.
Thunderbird_lv4.pngSuport: Another cheap and useful unit, besides having good ranged damage, it can stun the target, but I don't think it will make much difference this skill.

🤜The Battle 🤛

Analyzing the match: My opponent came with a mixed team of magical and physical damage, making the Light Elemental's ability that reduces damage at a distance useless, he is also with a unit with taunt protecting the suicidal rats these rats can do a good damage to my strategy, luckily the bonus of my summoner will be very useful making each unit take at least 2 hits to die, even after resurrected.

Round 1 - The game starts with the suicide rat doing some damage putting my strategy at risk, in the middle of the round my first decoy is eliminated, but almost at the end Jared manages to eliminate a unit getting even stronger.

Round 2 - In the second round I finally manage to get the opposing Tank who used the redemption skill 2x out of the game, and soon after Jared together with Harpy knock out the suicide rat, Jared already has 8 damage with pierce 😅.

Round 3 - Another hectic round and with Jared getting even stronger, my elemental gave goodbye to the match, followed by the opponent's Radiated, now I have a good advantage, Jared is killing any unit with 1 hit.

Round 4 - This round was almost a rerun of the previous one, the only difference being that only my opponent lost a unit.

Round 5 - My Jared is already at 10 damage, I defeated one more opposing unit, leaving only one unit left for my opponent.

Round 6 - Finally, victory arrived, with only one card my opponent's chances of winning were almost zero, the last blow was applied by Jared which was an incredible 11 damage.

🎊 Conclusion 🎊

Equal Opportunity is an incredible and somewhat predictable rule, I think that's why I like it, because you almost always know where your enemy will attack at the beginning and can defend yourself and even set traps against him, in addition, it opens a space for several melee cards to attack outside the front line, many of them would not last a round as a tank, a good example is Exploding Rats, the only thing that could take away the predictability of this rule at the beginning of the game is the Scattershot ability 😅.
