I AM THE TRUE SON OF MY FATHER'S WIFE!
Hello good day, it's been a very very long time since I've been here, and of course I really miss here, it seems like forever, well, it feels good that I am back now.
First of all, I went to discord to check if there already was any changes, and to my greatest surprise, it was just the update, no too much changes, and then again, I felt at home.
I was wondering what the topic was going to be when I opened the page again, and I was like, Wow, interesting, but I didn't like the fact that I had to just pic just one, but then, instructions are instructions.
In my country Nigeria, we could equally call this season that we are in presently, a season of famine.
There literally is hunger and starvation in the country right now.
So why did I bring this up? Sometimes last week or maybe 2 weeks ago, my father asked me to go buy FUFU worth ₦500 (fufu is a Nigerian local made food, made from cassava, and of course after a while lot of processing, it becomes FUFU.) Including my parent, we are 7 in numbers in my house, and As of last year, or maybe two years ago, this same FUFU of that same amount will be able to satisfy at least 5 people in the house, but now, I was sent by my father to get the FUFU worth ₦400, which is supposed to be about 8 pieces of them, and so I thought of the odds, if it was about 2 years ago, that 8 would be enough for me and my father, but now, that 8 is like just half of what it used to be...
And so I decided to get the FUFU worth ₦500 because it was going to be about 13 pieces, and I felt like I could take the risk of using my dad's money to get it, (in my head, I was like, worse comes to worst, I'll pay him back the remaining ₦100, I mean, what other punishment could be greater than that in this situation?)
After it home, I explained what happened to my father, and he exclaimed at first, and my heart skipped, and then this was his reply after the exclamation:
NAA YOU HAVE DONE WELL, YOU ARE THE TRUE SON OF YOUR FATHER, DO YOU SEE WHAT I ALWAYS TALK ABOUT? TO ALWAYS BE THINKING FOR THE BEST OPTION THAT WILL FAVOUR NOT JUST YOU, BUT EVERYONE THAT IT COULD BE EXTENDED TO
After these words, my mind obviously had to calm down, I mean, who wants to pay that #100?
My mother is not so much of a emotional woman, in fact,my father is more emotional than my mother.
My mother is a kind of person that can have an idea right now, and then might not share the idea to the world, but then just start putting the work, plus the fact that there is nothing that can change her mind, unless there's a very reasonable thing that'll make her back down. and all you'll be seeing is the results.
Personally, If there's one thing that I know I am sure that's is part of me, it is that act of not giving up. We'd fight tooth and nail to get results, and at the end of the day, I must prove that reason why giving up was not an option, I must show you my results; results that will make you respect the decisions I made, and even the ones I'll decide.
With the combination of this two factors, it seams like I'm unstable, been able to think on my toes and also not decide by emotions but by logic and sometimes facts...
