Our brain gets occupied with so many different information in this busy life, it's hard to feel calm and mentally alone. Also, people don't want to find the alone time anymore. Because everyone is running to make the fullest of their 24 hours time. We are compromising with our relationship, sleep, and even self-care for the sake of our work.

But alone time is necessary!

First we need to understand the difference between loneliness and alone time. I think it's not hard to guess how different they are. Loneliness is a mental feeling of 'left away'. But alone time or solitude is necessary to increase productivity in many ways.

  • Preaciting solitude reconnects us with our inner self.
  • It calms our mind, release stress, and makes us feel peace of mind.
  • It allows us to practice self-care and improves mental strength.
  • It gives us time to sharpen our mind, creativity, and brainpower.
  • It reduces behavioral issues.
  • It lets us understand thyself better.
  • It helps to understand empathy, gratitude, and thankfulness.

These are just some rough lists of how beneficial solitude can be. There are actually many other great benefits of this practice. I think it's necessary for all of us to have some time alone, sit, relax, think about life and plan for the next. Don't watch anything, don't scroll on your phone, don't play games; just have to alone time without everything, just with you.

Moreover, only a few minutes can give us the result. We don't have to spend hours to find the calm state of mind. Once we learn how to do that, it will take less time. I will talk about in detail how we can achieve solitude in another writing. I hope understanding the necessity will help us all to start practice this in our life.

This is a great one @zeesh which I affirm. As a medical professional in a world that is gradually evolving and transitioning, the use of complementary and alternative medicine is gradually gaining ground. For example, meditation and yoga exercises have been shown to reduce stress and even blood pressure in people. In the face of the countless number of stress-related medical conditions such as stomach ulcers, headaches, musculoskeletal problems, etc, solitude with a daily meditation habit will save a lot of people unnecessary hospital visits.
