Fun Weekend at the Resort.

The resort's pool is inviting to swim.

I want to share my fun weekend experience last March 18, Saturday. It was my Aunt's 70th Birthday at Calauan Laguna, Philippines. I told my cousin's wife when we met, it is a good thing they held the party on the weekend because the kids have school on weekdays. She answered that they actually scheduled the celebration on the weekend because she has work on weekdays. Because it is 70th Birthday, my cousins gave a quite big celebration for their mother. Come and join me in my story.

First we went to the Red Ribbon store to buy a dedication cake. I already have a gift ordered from shoppee but I still bought a cake. It is rechargeable so Mama Mary can light up at night. Then we went straight to my Aunt's house and rested a little. Around 3:00 pm, Philippine time, we rode in my cousin's van then went together to the resort where the event held.

When we arrive we went straight to our room to put down the bags we were carrying. There are two rooms in the resort. So we will be there together for the time being because there are many of us. It is okay, it's just one night and it is fun to be together. I did walk around the entire resort and of course took pictures. The resort is big. They pay 5000 Philippine pesos. Because there is a swimming pool there, we stayed overnight. So we brought clothes.

My cousin's wife asked the staff if they could put water in the kids pool. So the kids can swim first because there is also a kids pool there. My son, nephew and other kids went swimming before the party started.

The party was about to start so I dressed them up. Because it is past 6 pm. The host has a sense of humor. And sings well because of her beautiful voice. So the guests were not bored.

The birthday celebrant who is sitting is beautiful. She even went to the salon to get her hair done and add some make up.

In the first part of the program, my cousins who were in 7 candles gave a message to their mother. I did not get a picture of them because while they were giving messages they were in tears, and so was I (lolz). My Mom also gave a message to my Aunt. I thought I would be called too, I even memorized a message for my Aunt lol.

Many more happened like 7 gifts, 7 paper bills and so on. In order to make the event fun, there was also a game like bring me item, someone sing and dance and other mini games. I also joined and was unlucky to win. After blowing a candle and thank you message by celebrant, take a picture with the celebrant. To avoid confusion, going to the mini stage is per table.

There were many cakes as gifts from the guests but this was the most beautiful, the celebrant's cake.

After the program, of course the exciting part is eating hehe.
The food is catering, so we had to line up and then the waiter put the food on the plate for us. I did not finish my food, my head hurt because of the hot weather. My kids were eating biscuits during the event so they were still full. The food prepared was deliciously cooked. There is also a buko pandan salad for dessert, flavored juices and we were also given a slice of cake. I just remembered now, I wish I had eaten the other flavor of the cake ehehe.

What's on my plate is rice, sweet and sour chicken barbecue, chopseuy and fish fillet. The food on my son's plate was chicken barbecue, fish fillet and pancit canton.

After dinner and a little rest, I let my son and niece go swimming for one and half hour. I did not swim, I just looked after them. The large swimming pool is not deep so the kids can swim there too. I let them take a shower and got dressed to sleep in the room because it was getting late. Then I joined with my cousins and other guests while drinking flavored beer and singing along to the videoke.

Then I slept for a few hours. And Sunday morning, I laughed at the host because she was very drunk and blocked the door, we can't go out. The host is my cousin's wife best friend. We're on our way home but first we'll stop by my Aunt's house because she gave us a slice of cake and some food. Also the give away. And get in the van because my cousin drop us off near our place. I am close to my Aunt that is why we went to the party. And I am so thankful because we really enjoyed the party so much.

That is my Weekend Experiences. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed a lot especially the kids.
