Yah man vacations are awesome but they take us out of our regular routines, like posting on Hive. That's what they are supposed to do.
What I do is find a phone app like @ecency or @dbuzz and post shorter instances from vacation. Less of an article and more of an ad on the marketplace!
Then I take billions of pics and have posts to fill in slow days for weeks.
We will keep the lights on while you are gone no worries.
