We Have a Ghost - Netflix
A few days ago, while watching movies and series on Netflix, a comedy film came across my catalog, which caught my attention, at least from its trailer which seemed very funny. Without many expectations, I added it to the list, and recently I took the liberty of watching it, leaving me with mixed feelings, but not displeased.
Hace días viendo películas y series en Netflix se me atravesó entre su catálogo una película de comedia, la cual llamó mucho mi atención, al menos desde su tráiler que me pareció muy divertida, sin muchas expectativas realmente la agregué a la lista, y recientemente me tomé el atrevimiento de verla, dejándome distintos sabores de boca, pero no disgustada.
"We Have a Ghost" is a Netflix family film released in 2023. Known for its humor and pacing, its story is a kind of friendly Casper the Friendly Ghost in modern times. It tells the story of the Presley family who, upon moving into a new house, discover they are actually sharing it with a ghost who has been there for some time and has frightened many.

Esta cuenta la vida de la familia Presley, los cuales, al mudarse a una nueva casa, descubren que realmente la están compartiendo con un fantasma que lleva ya un tiempo allí, y que ha asustado a muchos.
Fulton Presley, played by Niles Fitch, is the main character in the film, being the ghost's friend and the one who guides his development. At first, he was very negative about moving, but as he meets new people, he begins to get used to it and continues his mission to help his new companion.
Fulton Presley, interpretado por Niles Fitch, es el que tiene mayor protagonismo en la película siendo este el amigo del fantasma y quien lo lleva a su desarrollo, este en un principio se mostró muy negativo por mudarse de hogar, pero al conocer nuevas personas se empieza a acostumbrar y sigue con su misión de ayudar a su nuevo compañero.
"Ernest the Ghost" is played by David Harbour, who delivers a funny and touching performance. A film legend in a project like this is exactly what's needed to add depth to the plot, with his signature style. Ernest turns out to be more than just a friendly ghost; what binds him to the world of the living runs much deeper.

And among the rest of the cast is Jennifer Coolidge, who delivered the film's most epic moment, showcasing just how great she is in this type of movie. She's one of my favorite actresses; I've always enjoyed her unique vibe and attitude, and even in just two seconds, her presence is undeniable.
Y entre el resto del reparto, esta Jennifer Coolidge, quien dio el momento más épico de la película mostrando lo buena que es su presencia en este tipo de película. Esta actriz es de mis favoritas, siempre he disfrutado su vibra y actitud que la define y así sean solo 2 segundos su presencia es más que notoria.
My issue with this film lies with two actors who I feel overacted, and this is what prevents me from saying the film is entirely good. Some scenes do feel awkward, but others more than make up for it. It's a really nice story that you could watch on a Sunday with your family and it might keep you entertained for a while.
Mi problema en esta película reside en dos actores que siento que sobre exageraron su actuación y esto es lo que me limita a decir que esta película es totalmente buena, realmente algunas escenas se sienten incómodas, pero otras las compensan. Realmente es una historia muy bonita que puedes ver en un domingo en familia y te podría entretener un rato.
Although I'm not a huge Netflix fan, I've watched several series and movies on the platform. Its catalog is incredibly diverse, and I've even discovered some shows I've become fans of, like The Good Place. I've had some truly memorable moments there, and we all know the quality this platform maintains for its content. I hope this review encourages you to watch this movie, and more importantly, that you enjoy it.
Aunque no soy muy fan de Netflix, he visto varias series y película con ella, aparte que su catálogo es realmente variado y desde allí he visto algunas de las que he sido fan, como The Good Place. Desde aquí he tenido momentos únicos y todos sabemos reconocer la calidad que controla esta plataforma para su contenido. Espero que esta reseña te anime a ver esta película, y más que nada, que la disfrutes.
