15 In Jail

avatar

If anyone had ever told you that you would be in Jail at the age of 15, would you have believe? or perhaps you might have even curse such a person for wishing or declaring such about you.
But this is it, it happened anyway didn't it? Can you take away the fact that it did? No you can't right? Now do you believe anything is possible? and that some things are not entirely impossible? Well you should because the truth is that you don't have any other option not to.

So If ever you were told about the unfair things that happens in life or could happen, you should nod your head and just know that most times devils don't have horns and are not mostly dressed in blacks but perhaps in this case they are and except otherwise, most of us will still see them as the devils which we truly think the earned themselves.

15 IN JAIL

What was his crime? Funny, weird, crazy and as annoying as it may sound; Just chilling out at their front door at around 10 pm in the night.
Was he found stealing? NO!
Was he with guns? NO!
Did he break into someone's house or shop? NO!
Did he in anyway have some kind of a suspicious mask on? Of course no.
NO! NO! and NO! he didn't do any of those.
The poor little boy was only out their door receiving God's free gift of nature, Cold breeze along side two adults who may happened to have been family, relatives or just friends, who knows?

Boom! came the devil's incarnates ( I don't really mind calling them that) argue with yourself.
Down their truck, without any form of explanation or what wrong those guys did, forcefully dragged into their vehicles all in the name of some suspicious movement like what in the world?
What movement exactly? Seating outside your house, receiving some fresh air is now termed suspicious movement? what will we not hear in this country from this malicious set of people?
What false accusation will they not imposed on us just so they could satisfy their urge of a few penny or kobo, how pitiful and sad.

And there! thrown into a cell for a crime he didn't even commit.
15 years old already seeing and experiencing what life in jail is.
What was your crime, the other falsely accused jailers asked, and the poor boy who knew nothing about why he was even there in the first place explained what happened to them.
How much more can a country fail their citizens?
What more do we have to see or hear before we accept that we are in trouble with a nationality we once proudly stated.
Could things get any worst? We are even yet to know.

BRIGHT FUTURE
Should I even mention that? I bet we all want that and will really love it to be a bright one.
How bright can a future get with a failed country with mostly people who don't even care about our future?

Starting with the 15 years old jailer boy who had a test to write in school the next day. But how was he supposed to do that inside a dark, dirty and smelling cell?
How was he supposed to reach out to his friends or teachers in school?
Apparently that's an F (fail) for him in that particular test and subject, except the teachers and school authorities are considerate enough which I doubt in such a country as flawed as this one.
Who helped the poor boy fetch that grade? The Devil's Incarnates or A Failed Country?

The End?

No one knows because we don't always live to tell all the story.
It already felt like an end for the poor boy that did nothing wrong.
I mean who wouldn't feel so wronged about such action?
And even if and when he is finally out of jail which I believe would be done sooner, the memories would still stick like a wild fire and each times he reminisce the incident, all he may remember is a country that failed his people in words and in conduct.
And no one can tell me that this wasn't outrageous. This can only be the highest form of it.

I may never get over this and I wish I could tell those devils to their face that perhaps the world would have been better off if we all were just ordinary citizens, cause rather than stopping and fighting crimes, they are busy creating fake ones for their selfish gains and interest.

Shoot, I totally forgot about that poor kid.

A person made a comment right there in the cell, he said :

"Most of the killers we have today weren't always bad. Things of this nature changed them"

A 17 year old by law ain't even supposed to be in jail, talk more of a 15 year old, it's the height of nonsense.

As small as the kid is, he'll forever grow hate towards them, possibly plot on how to revenge them for painting him a criminal at such a tender age.

The highest height of nonsense my dear.

Most of the killers we have today weren't always bad. Things of this nature changed them"

But it's the sad truth. It's one of the things that make people bad.

I think the officials weren't in their right senses when they took him lol.
I always say! Many are mad but few are seen on the streets. Peace!!

Don't really know if we should complaint God or people or our destinies for being a residence under such a nonsense system where there is only crime on the name of governance. The criminals are at large while the innocents are transferred to jail. What they will come out with. They will come out with rage, eager to take revenge and will instantly become merciless criminals

Yes! And this is how the world gets crueler because of the bad and painful scars and experiences people had.

Not their faults you know! They got no choice but to always think of a bitter revenge to offer their offenders.

No matter how outrageous this is

I have said before, and I will say it again

The people dressed in black are merely doing whatever they feel will put food on their table

It is called survival instinct

There are people who have done worst things than those in black, and just because they are not let out in the light does not make them different

so you can only throw words at those you have seen or experience, what about the others?

This is what survival means to most people.....know this, and know peace

Who doesn't want to put food on their table? Absolutely none.
Must people be heartless to put food on their table?

For crying out loud there are much more better way to do that.
And for those you said have done even worst then, I just pity their generation.

There is and will always be better ways to doing things and putting food on the table and it can be true the right means and not dubious way.
Know this and know peace ✌️

Cry, scream, and scratch from now till tomorrow

Nothing is going to change

In this world, its one man for himself

Trying to explain morality to a hungry person caught stealing is just as pouring water on the back of a duck

It does not change the fact that he will do it again, if opportunities presents itself

Apparently that is the sad truth.
But when you said its survival instinct or what was it you said again?
You made it look like there are no better ways to survive and still put food on the table.

Is this what happen, the other night? It seems. Your brother, cousin or relative.

It's highly condemnable. Our security operatives aren't helping matters. Yet we need authorities and leadership to instil fear in people. Absent of it would be worst than jungle.

Encourage him to move on. It's quite sad, but the future can always be bright for a determined.
Sorry for what happened.

None of the above

It's highly condemnable. Our security operatives aren't helping matters. Yet we need authorities and leadership to instil fear in people. Absent of it would be worst than jungle.

They are just not doing anything and it's sad.

And when those innocent souls eventually comes out of jail after many years of staying there for being falsely accused, what do they think would become of such a person?

Indeed its only God that can help us at this point.

This proofs the system is not always right. Sometimes innocent people suffer. Dropping someone behind bars without any reason is indeed outrageous. I can imagine how buddy must have felt. No matter what the age is, such a thing is traumatic.

You right.
No matter the age, it can be so traumatic and disheartening.
And totally true that the system is not always right.

Good god. Your title image drew me in. It was like watching someone reaching for the light. Gave me shivers

Lol, Wow! Really? I am glad it did.
Actually, the image portrays exactly what it felt like.
The boy didn't deserve that dark and stinging cell, as if crying out for help and hoping someone gets him out of there.
